If a male lion is already strong, imagine an entire pride. It's amazing how the lions' teamwork brings them all a victory.

Are lone buffaloes really getting separated from their herds? I thought that they had a strong herd instinct. Are safari companies capturing and then placing lone buffaloes into lion territory? Just wondering- I am about 1,000 miles from being an expert, but I thought that it seems strange how many lone buffaloes are away from their herds.

Every individual animal has its own personality. Some like being away from the herd free to eat fresh untouched grass alone. Just like introverts. Pros = unlimited access to fresh food. Cons = well, this video and this channels content 😅

Yeah lions will attempt to seperate a buffalo by charging the herd, creating confusion and panic to which they then close in on a separated individual.

A lone Buffalo is mostly a bull that has been chased out from the herd during breeding season or they're sick or injured. The Alphas, breeders and calves are members of the herd

⁠@@NashlashWrong. Its most likely sick or injured or has been chased out by the herd cause of breeding rights. If its a female it could also be pregnant and cannot keep up with the herd
