For the side bar being in your way when shooting sitting down. Just adjust your seat higher so it lowers the bar. That will help. I hunt only out of the xop and I love it.

I had my Summit Viper stolen out of the woods and just picked up one of these. I love it. I am a "robustly built" hunter (read fat), and this stand is easy to climb with, and comfortable enough for long sits.

PSA-Only a 350 lb. Limit on these. Including your gear.

Mr. Reality thanks. I am certain that I come in under 350 with gear, but is that the stand or the “sit” part of the sit and climb? The summit seems much easier to climb in, but I like not having a bar in front of me for bowhunting.

@@dfm-jv7ry I’m assuming 175 per platform. 🤣 JK. It has to be the band strength. 350 per platform. I’m not getting fat enough to test that theory.

A Flip Top is great for a bow. It would be great if that bar can be locked for a rail.

I just bought this stand used. I used to have a lone wolf hand climber. For some reason this new stand the straps are so long that even on a decent sized tree the stand is already level even with the straps lowered as low as they will go. Do you know a fix to this?

Lone wolf has a new stand for 2023 and the replacement parts will be interchangeable for the older lone wolf sit and climb stands. These new LW climbing stands are awesome and they are even lighter can’t wait to pick mine up!

Does the weight rating really double? Friend told me if it says 300 it’ll hold 600.

The sit and climb wide has a rating of 350 I wouldn’t recommend more than that lol

First part is true the second part is still yet to be told… there’s a rumor that they will start making replacement parts but nothing official yet

You’ll have to try your luck finding a used one these are no longer on the market however, XOP still currently Carrie’s a very similar stand OnYourOwn15 on any xop products will save you 15% as well

This is the wide version so really it should be pared with the Goliath. Summits viper would be more comparable to the lone wolf assault and or hand climber…

I have both and both have their ups and downs. The flat pack makes it easier to Carry in. I use the sit and climb for a longer walk in and the viper when it's a shorter walk
