After completing the Lonesome Road, I maxed out my endurance with the perk so I could finally get all the implants from that doctor. I was able to complete my role play as Mr. House’s cyborg bodyguard, protecting New Vegas from anything that posed a threat to the Mojave. NV is such a great game! After years of never actually beating it, I think it’s earned a spot as one of my top ten favorite games.

if you want to side with the ncr or the legion and get the ncr/legion special armor there's a way to do it. don't ever go to the strip until you complete lonesome road. if you never go to the strip you won't encounter the two ncps that will reset all the negative reputation you have. so here's what you gotta do; nuke both ncr/legion and loot all the armor and guns you want then go to the strip to encounter those ncps who will then forgive all of your negative reputations. then you can have your chosen armor to use in either route. or alternatively you could laugh at the hilarity of both sides wanting you despite you nuking them (which is what I did) and then get them to like you and then kill them all again.

Slight mistake I need to clarify from my previous comment. You can go to the strip; however, you must avoid going to the Lucky 38 and meeting Benny. If you go into the Lucky 38 an NCR soldier will appear and give you a letter from an ambassador who will pardon your crimes. If you go meet with Benny and fail to kill him/kill him/have sex with him and kill him/ have sex with him and kill him then eat him once you exit The Tops Vulpes (Or Alerio if you killed Vulpes for your waifu Boone) will give you the Mark of Caesar and that will remove your negative reputation. So in short, avoid Lucky 38 and your revenge fantasy. (Side note: During my playthrough I did not test if your negative reputation is removed when the NCR soldier gives you the letter or when you visit the ambassador who sent you the letter that wants to pardon your crimes. So if anyone can clarify for me I'd give you hugs~) Hope you have fun with massacre and diplomatic immunity~

@@salvete- at level 50, you can choose from 3 perks depending on your karma. 'Ain't like that now' for low karma, 'just lucky I'm alive' for neutral, and 'thought you died' for good karma.

Chip If we go by the suggested levels, Old worlds Blue and Honest Heart would be the DLC you start with. But I prefer Honest Heart or Dead Money first

The way I see it, you are made aware of Ulysses very early when you talk to Nash in Primm and the Canyon wreckage is nearby. So for me, there is no reason I couldn’t explore Hopeville early and get the first two logs of Ulysses. One alerts you to the Big Empty while the other talks about the White Legs foreshadowing Honest Hearts. Then after completing OWB first, then HH and finding out what damage Ulysses caused, no reason why you can’t pursue Ulysses. And after he “recalls” ED-E, you are compelled to finish the DLC. And pick up Rawr’s talon in the process. Dead Money can be done last, either as a favor for Veronica, tracking Elijah, or as a BoS mission after stopping the missile launch and gaining fame with them. In fact, if you have a “Liked” rep with BoS while meeting Christine, you get additional dialog.

You can actually get the ncr beret if you return to prim after assigning a sheriff and the townies return to their homes, go back to the casino in the town and a woman named laya(I think that’s how it’s spelled) will enter the casino right behind claiming she is an ncr deserter and will turn hostile to you unless you pass a speech check or let her rob you. She is wearing the ncr beret.

Lonesome road DLC stuff is awesome. Guns and gear are very climate. I love to wear courier duster. It's just so awesome. It is very nice from side of obsidian that he gave us such equipment after the last courier's adventure before the last battle of hoover dam.Lonesome road DLC it's a very male story.Excellent gifts. 14:45 A trick to getting the black jack version of the duster (which imo looks the best and the +1 to luck is really good) is to wear either NCR or Legion armor during your final encounter with Ulysses. This resets your reputation with all major factions back to neutral

I don't bother with it in HC mode. It is easy enough to reduce fatigue with the occasional found bed, so if sleeping doesn't also heal, then being to do it anywhere isn't much benefit. Not hardcore? Oh hell yes, it's an "easy button."

Which sounds like alot, but actually is alot, until you break the bank in dead money where you can get functionally infinate stimpacks. Which you probably played before lonesome road... so not alot. Unless you played lonesome road before dead money to bring fist of rawr into the madre for some ghost people fisting. So eh... I dunno its cool I guess.

The Gold stirpes on Royes' power armour were actually the honorary NCR golden Stripes which is a medal given to those of great service to the NCR. This is why it is on his own power armour, and why he has his pin on display also.

No, the Twisted Hairs were one of the 86 tribes the Legion conquered. They did not conquer 87, according to Vulpes Incluta. Thus, the 87th tribe must be the Legion itself.

Oxhorn's videos made me go back to my in memorium charachter from a playthrough i rage quit on in big mt. I rewatched the Old World Blues series as i watched this series and I felt the need and want to go back and finish my in memorium charachter playthrough to finish what i started and to expierience the complete game and lore.

Oxhorn Thank you. I never truly finished the game before due to multiple reasons. I finally had the drive to do after a bad event that made me start my current playthrough and it kinda sucked that i quit because of the insane amount of enemies that spawned around think tank. And luckily things looked up because i finished OWB last night and got every good ending for the characters.

I wasnt really in the greatest mood for a couple of months after weirdly enough i felt a bit drawn to the game so i said to myself. "I'm going to do this playthrough in memory of her." Because i never truly beat the game as in defeat Lanius and watch the credits and because she used to watch me play when i was younger and she was the one who got me the special edition of the game so i thought it would be somewhat of a sendoff if i finally made it to see the end.

@@nathanielgarza9198 I don't even know what you're math is trying to say but my point is the same as yours: each try has a 10% chance. My criticism is that trying 10 times doesn't guarantee that 1 of those tries succeeds because probability doesn't apply historically, it applies per try. Therefore it's entirely probable for someone to try a thousand times and less than 10% of those tries be successful. Similarly, if unlikely, it's probable for someone to try a thousand times and succeed a thousand times because the chance is per try. Which is where the Gambler's Fallacy comes in because thinking that probability occurs historically is what fools gamblers into thinking they can have good/bad luck streaks despite previous successes/failure having no influence on the current try.

That is not the gambler's fallacy. The gambler's fallacy is assuming that an independent probability will change from trial to trial. Expecting to succeed after a certain number of trials given a fixed probability is not assuming that the probability of individual success increases. You have to calculate the probability of the entire combined event. Think if it this way: if there is a 10% chance of success each trial, then there is a 90% chance of failure. But if there are multiple (Bernoulli) trials, then the probability of failing, for example, 10 times in a row is (0.9)¹⁰ = 35% So, it is about 65% likely to succeed by the 10th trial. Those are good odds. No fallacy.

Hey Oxhorn, i discovert your channel just recently. And man i got to say: i love your videos! I saw a ton of your Fallout 4 videos for example. Finally someone who appreciates F4 for what it is and not hate it for what it could have been. And when you said that at the end of the videos that you upload every day, i was sceptical till i checked out your uploads. This is crazy. Daily uploads of 30+ min (more or less) videos with such love to detail. You cant be human. You must be a synth! I cannot wait for new videos. Keep up the good work!

two thing is want to point out: first of it's cavalery, not calvary cavalery is a mounted millitary force, calvary is the hill where they crucified jesus. secondly, many red paints turn yellow when exposed to sunlight for too long.

Sum of the armour's cosmetics are changed by a mod I remember the riot armor is not completely black it has sum red on it

the red parts are actually a bug most present in the ps3,however i dont know if it is present on the pc.i think he is using adam reborn athe black retexture for the riot gear,both are in nexus

Ox you forgot to mention that the armor of 87th tribe has the the highest durability of any armour in the game coming in at a whoping 3000 health but with a dt of 21, compare that to remments power armour in death claw repository, (an unmarked location on otherside of collarado River) which has a durability of only 400, but with a dt26

Actually,to get the most radiation protection is to have the space suit from the ghouls on to space and Ulysses mask,partly giving you almost 95 radiation protection

Tip for anyone re-watching this video, the elite and normal riot gear helmets counts as eyewear, and if you have the honest hearts DLC you can wear Daniels hat or any beret with the riot gear helmet. I think this looks pretty cool and makes you look more like a cowboy with Daniel’s hat also giving you a max of +3 Perception meaning if you build your character at the start right you would only need to put 6 points in perception at the start to max it.

Ox, I noticed that in this loot video, and in the first lonesome road video, you stated that you can only repair the riot gear helmets with itself, even if you have the jury rigging perk. This claim is false. If you get a body set of heavy armor (such as metal armor) you can repair your helmet with those items if you have the jury rigging perk, since it is also classified as heavy armor. just thought you should know.

Holy cow. I started at 9 am this morning and somehow found my self playing through this entire dlc until the end. My eyes are dry and my head hurts, but it hurts a little less thanks to this guide helping me through the maze of the divide in part 7 I think it was. I'm gonna go sleep for a little while now, but thanks for the navigational tips. (I'd like it notes I was so out of touch by the end I unloaded almost all of my ammo into Ulysses before remembering he gets healed by the war heads. Long story short I ended up having to kill him with pulse slugs...)

If you wear a faction armor all your reputation with factions is now set to neutral, so if you want the 21 duster that's an easy way to get it, i go in wearing the Great Khan's armor which is a weight of 7lbs, just put it on any time you leave a building when Ulysses talks to you.

Ox, you forgot to talk about the enemies weapons in the Divide. They'll have high level gear such a thermic lances, anti-material rifles, 2.77mm smgs, and even plasma casters. The Divide has the best chance to find High-end weapons. You may know that, but I just would like for everyone else to know that. Could you please pin this so all can see?

No, because I only cover new items and recipes introduced with the DLC. What your asking is for a video on high-level weaponry (which can be obtained all over), which is a different video. I may make one some day.

Oxhorn ok, it's just that the Divide has the best possible chance of high level gear. I have died at least 20 times to them using plasma casters. Especially those bosses. I'm mean yes it is essentially part of the vanilla game so I get why you won't review it. Also let me guess next is either G.R.A or Motyership Zeta. Also since this is essentially the 'Last' of the DLC will you review The Bounty Series, The Frontier, or Beyond Boulder Dome? That would make our day. Also hope you've had a wonderful day!

I Have To Say My favourite rewards were Marked Patrol Armor Scorched Sierra Power armor Red Glare Fist of Rawr I use the Patrol Armor a lot in my travels of the Divide

Great video as always, Ox! FWIW, I think you should include some info about cut content you come (or don't) come across: it tells a story about the game, what the devs intended for it and maybe why it was changed. In addition, some stuff was obviously removed by accident and I consider it a glitch that it's not present. I get the whole "wanting to be vanilla" deal, but I'd rather have a better, more complete, story than "what the developers intended" or whatever argument people use nowadays. Just my ¢2, keep up the good work!
