Hello and Welcome to the 20,000 Subscriber Q&A and Face Reveal!
Sorry this took so long to put out. I had initially intended on filming this on my travels earlier this winter, but audio issues meant the footage wouldn't be usable. Then the holidays and New Year's happened, which pushed it back even further.
Also, I'm sorry if I didn't get to everyone's questions! There were a lot, but I think I got to most of them in the end.
Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed!

Quick note: it looks like the audio de-synced around the 25 minute mark for a couple minutes. Idk why this happened, as it sounded fine in the edit. Apologies for the issue!

Great video! I've been watching your videos for at least a year or more. Your opening on most videos "Hello, and welcome" definitely made me think you were in your early 30's. You may remember that I once asked you if you were a professional voiceover actor. Now that we can all put a face to the voice, it shatters my mental image of you to know you are only 22. Soon you will graduate college and start your career as a mechanical engineer. I doubt you'll have time for as many train trips (what with most companies only giving out so much vacation time per year). But, I hope it works out and you are able to entertain and educate us with many more trip reports to come. Good luck in your future career and I'm looking forward to seeing your many future trip reports.

I always try to keep everything professional, which is likely where the difference comes in. As for the future of the channel, I plan to keep making videos for as long as I can. Fortunately, part of my job next year has me traveling to Europe multiple times, including 3 months internationally in 2025, so there'll be plenty more content coming for at least the next year and a half if not two years!

It was good to actually see your face & you doing the Q & A. I wish I could've went live when this came out. Do you plan on doing a video on NJ Transit's Atlantic City Line? If so, I have my own video clips I would like to share. I just don't know how. As for Amtrak, I hope the Sunset Limited returns to Florida also. I travel from Philadelphia to San Antonio every so often. To keep it at using 2 trains with same day layover, I have to use the Cardinal & Texas Eagle. I would also like to see the return of the Broadway Limited. Have a good day.

I hear your main inspiration for your channel was simply railway. I think you do better than simply railway because you add music and narrate instead of having titles appear below. I think you do better than any other youtube channel. When you're on a train trip, I feel like I'm one of the passengers on the train.

I hear you saying that the P42DC is your favorite locomotive. It's my favorite locomotive too. I'm not as big a fan of siemens chargers and I know you like them, I just find them to be rather hideous. I would agree the ALC-42's look better than the SC-44.

Oh and about the NYC subway question. If you like it go for it. But I think it would be so expensive and time consuming for you, unless you teamed up with a New Yorker. Not high on my list of priorities. I'd rather see Japan, South America, Australia... By the way I really enjoy the style and content of your videos. You have a great voice too.

In Ireland, I recommend: The Dublin Area Rapid Transit, it starts from Malahide and Howth (pronounced as Hoe-th) in the north, through Dublin, toward Bray and Greystones in the south which are actually in County Wicklow making them the only two DART stations to be outside of County Dublin, until DART+ kicks off if the government can find the money. There are two mainlines (or corridors as you call them) there’s one from Dublin’s Heuston station to Kent station in Cork, with lines to Waterford, Galway, Westport and Limerick merging off en route. The Waterford line leaves after Kildare, the line to Athlone, Galway and Westport leaves after Portarlington, and the limerick line leaves after Limerick Junction which is actually closer to Tipperary than Limerick… And there’s the line to Drogheda (pronounced Dro-header), Dundalk and Belfast which is operated by Enterprise, a cross border service co-owned by Iarnród Éireann, Ireland’s national operator (pronounced Ian-rord Air-run) and Translink NI Railways which is Northern Ireland’s national operator in the UK. That service starts from Dublin’s Connolly station all the way up to Lanyon Place station in Downtown Belfast, Northern Ireland. Although when the new Grand Central station opens, the enterprise will be re-routed there so that Lanyon Place can act more as a commuter stop rather than an intercity station as it wasn’t even meant to be like that to begin with…on the approach to Downtown Belfast after passing Adelaide depot (no not the Adelaide in Australia), you’ll see a junction which to your left would eventually take you to Grand Central station upon opening. At the moment it takes you to Great Victoria Street station which is currently running on borrowed time as, along with Belfast Europa bus station, is gonna be closed and replaced by the new Grand Central station and bus interchange. Also, be warned that most of the Iarnród Éireann network is single track and has a sparse frequency (ranging between 4 and 12 trains a day, which is ridiculous if you ask me especially when connecting major cities). So yeah, that’s a heads up for ya. Hope this has got ya planning 😁
