He is great at getting some digs too. He and Paxon on USC are the two best liberos this year in the NCAAs.

The dig wasn’t the most impressive part, it’s how he got the ball to the setter that low to the ground that was awesome

I was here last night on Hawaiis side. We went with my club and we took up 5 rows. Most of us wanted Hawaii to win but I wanted Long Beach to win. Edit:I came on the 2nd day

Long beach's no. 23 and libero really shone in this match. 23 really gave off the feel of a reliable ace and the libero was able to save some impossible balls. The connecting capability of this team reminds me of Nekoma .-.

23 will likely be NCAA player of the year.. Long Beach was very lucky to get him. He is a freshman. They wouldn't be nearly as good without him. The LBSU libero is one of the top 2 liberos in the NCAAs imo. Him and PaxSon on USC stand out.

Long Beach's opposite isn't as threatening as the two outsides. I wonder if switching him places with number 23 would make him a better scorer? He used to be an outside in high school anyway, right? Number 23 is a heavy hitter and can kill almost any kind of set too.

Just because there's spin on the ball doesn't mean it's a double. Trend lately has been to let that go. I think hitters pushing/palming the ball is a bigger problem.

@@seanculwell5754 Sunderland and Barnett talked about this during the Olympics.Spin on a set ball doesn't create any advantage for a hitter so unless it's egregious, doubles aren't being called as much.

are switch rules different in the states? they didn't swap in any of the sets. Here in AUS we swap sides between every set of the game be it 3 or 5 set games.

Due to Covid they don't switch sides this year. They aren't supposed to shake hands after the matches but all the teams are doing it.

Also whenever someone from Hawaii served somebody behind us would distract them. For example when Jakob Tehelle (10) the guy would say he smelled like onions. It was funny Edit:I came on the 2nd day
