I-90 on a Himmi. Wow. I thought I was tempting fate touring with a first gen KLR with segments on I-40 in eastern AZ and I-15 in southern UT. Enjoyed the debrief on what was a great trip. Glad the Himmi performed admirably. A plucky steed, indeed.

It’s amazing how attached we can become with an inanimate object after spending so much time together.

A couple years ago, we took a family vacation and hit The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Custer and Wind Cave National Park. The cave tour was well worth the cost. Went across the 20 in Iowa to Cedar Rapids to see some family and back home to central MO. It was an amazing trip that I think about often. Another great video from you.

I live in humid deep south Louisiana where the temperatures reach over 110 degrees in the summer. You should check out Bohn riding gear. I wear a t-shirt underneath the top and light pants with the bottoms. They provide the most ventilation with protection. Stay safe.

Do you know an estimate on fuel mileage for the trip?

I don’t think the new 450 Himalayan’s top end speed is that much greater than the 411. It will be a huge disappointment for those hoping to get more.
