Those look like Fenrir bar end mirrors from Amazon. I put some black ones on my scram and they are fantastic. No real vibrations to speak of on 411cc single at 65mph.

I got my green Classic and red GT 3 weeks apart in December (Christmas presents) to myself. GT to get S & S mufflers on July 26th, my birthday present. 🤔 Labor Day.!! Wahoo.!!! GT had bar ends and single seat when got it. I tell everyone it's just an " old man bike" Will be 71 in 21 days- enjoying my bikes like I was 21 again.

No slight intended toward the Super Meteor or the Himalayan, but roadtrips and reviews involving the 350 Classic are my faves. That plucky thumper just epitomizes throwback no frills motorcycling. Elemental joy.

For a good sleeping pad thats lightweight and doesnt take up alot of room. Id look into the Klymit insulated sleeping mats. Especially the luxe and luxe SL models. Ive used them both in cold winter conditions down to 10 degrees on the snow and they work excellent. The luxe models are wider for people like me who roll and side sleep and being insulated they help keep you being cold from conduction. They are designed for backpackers. So should still fit in your camping kit.

Yes, I agree. Good friend used the Klymit on your trip to South Dakota. I'll check them out. Thanks!

Hello, which bike would you recommend me to use in a big city like Buenos Aires with a medium distance trip of 100 km around and sometimes carrying a passenger, the classic or the hunter, thank you very much for your advice. I say this because the classic seems to be heavier than the hunter. Thanks
@jeremypendergast91293 күн бұрын
Having ridden both, I'd say the Hunter for inner-city travel. It's so agile and the shorter wheel base and lighter weight really bike it fun in tight areas.

Over here in Germany the 955i has 98 HP due to insurance classification. I bought mine in march 2002 and still love to run it. The original suspension is a bit soft, a change to Wilber’s makes this Maschine still more formidable. No driving modes, no ABS, no nothing. Pure, honest to god motorcycling… I only had very few technical issues so far, well spent 11.500 Euros in 2002. Save riding, Johannes

I have one in black/silver/gold, cat delete, exhaust (looks like the same as this, TEC), camshaft and tuned. It's no supersport, but is a blast to ride and looks fantastic, IMO. The seat cowl is removable but that seat isn't great for 2up, the Street Twin seat fits it great though for the occasional passenger.

Which one is the most capable for ADV biking in the mountains? Is that more of a Himalayan? Can you run knobby tires on either of these?
@thefuzzybiker17110 күн бұрын
Both bikes are very good for this. I have not had a lot of time on the 400x but can speak to the scram 411. The 400x does have more horsepower and I think it's lighter too. I know the durability of the scram is good but again, don't have a lot of experience with the 400x. Knobby tires can be fitted on both bikes.

Villiers was part of the British motorcycle industry from turn of 19 th century onwards. It played a part in the English governments subsidy and restructuring of the failing ownerships of the big bike business in England mostly in late 1960's and 70s.
