To JDF,
I am BEYOND grateful to not only have experienced your joyful presence multiple times in person, but I am ETERNALLY grateful to have been given your personal approval to carry on the identity of the Green Ranger as my Henshin Legends crew and I continue production on our 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝑹𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 film in your honor. Though I am heartbroken that you will not be able to witness the final product of our film in the physical realm as we discussed, I vow to do everything I can to ensure that the spirit of both you and your iconic character are placed on full display upon its release. Rest easy, Green Ranger... for much like the countless lessons that you’ve taught us all on the 𝑴𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒚 𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒏 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒔 show of our youth, your passing has managed to provide us all with one final lesson: life is a gift, and you must be grateful for EVERY moment you spend with those you care for on this earth. For you never know when it’s their turn to say ‘goodbye.’

@@brucewayne6356 I think it goes much more deeper then that in my opinion. A lot of weird things are happening now. A lot of our Heros from our time are being dismantled, killed, and replaced with weaker versions of themselves or a female. Today's society has us questioning what is it to be a man, and why being a man is toxic. Everything in today's society is geared towards removing real man(Warriors, Speakers, athletes, musicians). Did he deleted him over his wife.. Maybe.. It means the system in place failed him like it does to other men. Family counts, divorce count have been ruining men's lives for quite sometime. If the rumors were true. This lady was going to walk away with close to 30 years worth of his wealth, house and Legacy. There's a lesson to be learned here for men young and old.

@@TheOfficialJAYBIRD There are so many moments that I love from his time as Tommy. First would have to be when he's fighting the Ooze men and he says "Welcome to my Nightmare." It was such a bad ass line that showed that Tommy was fearless and would never run from a fight. Another is obviously when Tommy fights Goldar without his Ranger Powers showing me that you can be a Ranger with or without the power. Third would have to be the reveal of him at the beginning of Dino Thunder, we see this guy running from trouble in a dimly lit hallway and he's basically thrown out into the open revealing Tommy which was a great way to show that he was back. Fourth is his return as the White Ranger. Finally is his return as the Black Dino Thunder Ranger and right before he morphs he says "I may be old, but I can still pull it off." JDF was the reason those moments were epic had it been anyone else I don't think it would've be as memorable. Heck I don't think Power Rangers would be as memorable if not for JDF on top of the other cast members.

@The Official JAYBIRD "when I watch "power rangers" back in 1993 & saw the "green with evil" 5-part episode I thought J.D.F was a rookie but after watching the 5-part episode he became something else he became my idol from "Mighty morphin"/"zeo"/"turbo" & "Dino thunder" he became my favorite legendary ranger even seeing Tommy return for the anniversary episodes J.D.F was still my favorite ranger during "Dino Thunder" I imagine bein Tommy Oliver's teacher Assistant & hope to meet J.D.F one day but after hearing bout his passing broke my heart that the only way to meet J.D.F is in my dreams & beyond I have trouble accept the fact that J.D.F was gone so I won't it will be like we went awhile without seeing each other I hope the 30th anniversary does something to honor J.D.F's Tommy Oliver character they own J.D.F that much It's what J.D.F woulda wanted"

Their is a vid on You Tube where JDFs daughter is asking the show/movie people to let her be the new Green Ranger to honor her dad. That sounds great,, They need to show Tommy sacraficing himself to save the Earth or something and somehow passing the GreenRanger power to her. Not normally in favor of this method but they could use a body double and CGI JDFs face on the actor like they did for Chris Evens as the before Steve Rodger in Capt. America.and use a voice synth. to dubb his voice. With families permission of course.

It would be a great idea to never change his character's race, gender, or orientation in any possible future reboots or remakes in honor of Jason David Frank. That would be ideal. Correct. But for our film, we also pay tribute to the Super Sentai origins of MMPR as well. The dagger tunes used in MMPR were typically used for the shield upgrade, summoning the Dragonzord and initiating his ‘attack’ command. The dagger tune used here pays tribute to the fall of a Dragon (Green) Ranger. Check out the link I’ve sent you when you get a chance. ~ AJ 🐉⚡️

@@TheOfficialJAYBIRD I remember him when I was a kid. I was a huge power ranger fan and he was always my favourite. For the last few years I have seen how he loved being a ranger and how much people loved him and the legacy he created I just don’t understand why he would end it the way he did

JDF didn’t think so when I told him about both our concept and film. In addition, both Lightspeed Rescue and Lost Galaxy had Black green rangers. An African-American Dragon Ranger is indeed going to be epic. 🔥🐉

It is the 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵 tune used by the Dragon Dagger (or Zyusouken in its Super Sentai counterpart Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q6-kq7ikrK_Znnk.html). In fact, it’s 1 of 4 that the Dragon Dagger uses. It was 100% intentional that the summoning tune that we’re all familiar with wasn’t used in favor of the tribute tune used from Zyuranger since JDF never received that tribute here in the States. Hope you enjoyed the tribute. 🐉

Not on your life, my guy. The tune you are hearing is the Fallen Dragon tribute tune used in MMPR’s Super Sentai counterpart Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q6-kq7ikrK_Znnk.html). An appropriate tribute given that JDF never got the opportunity down here in the United States.
