Long-Tail Cast On: Knitting tutorial step-by-step
In this video, I’ll be showing you how to start your knitting using the Long Tail Cast On method. This method uses the tail and the yarn from the ball to create the stitches, so you’ll need to make sure your tail is long enough for the number of stitches you need to cast on for your project.
Starting your work with the Long Tail method means you’ll have a more flexible edge, which might be useful if your first few rows will be worked in rib.
