On our recent holiday to the Scottish Highlands Kate and I visited Lochindorb in search of Black Throated Divers. Unfortunately we didn't find any divers maybe due to the inclement weather. While searching for the divers we decided to try the more sheltered end of the loch. Having pulled in to a suitable place to park Kate noticed a Skua on a small rock on the heath. To our surprise it was an adult Long-tailed Skua, a pretty rare sight on mainland Scotland. After a few moments it flew from the rock and settled for a while on the water as you can see on this video. I hope you enjoy it.
