There's a golf course in the south of England that has about 780 yard par 4 because it starts on the top of a cliff face and just entirely goes downhill to the clubhouse. The average driver can easily break 450yards on it. My friend drove it about 650 yards after connecting perfectly with his tee shot and then birdied it. It's literally just a completely straight slope to the green with about a 45degree angle downwards.

@@thirstybonsai1888 did you read the comment? the final hole starts on top of a huge hill and just drops down at about a 45 degree angle until the green. It's an 800 yard par 4 because of this and it's a birdie chance with a good drive. 😂 My favorite ever golf hole.

I think he didn't see the ball coming but could hear it bouncing on the tarmac, and so he panicked thinking he was about to get smacked in the face by a rogue ball.

shouldn't be too hard to verify the longest drive i the history of the Tour was at Oak Hills CC San Antonio TX in the eighties 700+ yards down a drainage ditch the pro had to hit a three wood wedge back to the green. Just the facts Man /
