Fun Fact: I did A-1000 first try, and the only reason it took me four attempts was because I didn't have the pre-run shop, which would have allowed me to get lockpicks for the rooms. I had to depend on the game's RNG to find them, which got very annoying, very fast. (Also I can't do it with the April Fools update because it would be counted as two separate runs)

I say this every time I talk about doors. This game is purely about patience, attention, being careful and not being stupid. Like I died a couple times on door 50 and it was when I was stupid and or trying to test the AI from figure.

Congrats on the clear, also, really smart move with the big potion from Backroom didn't know you could survive a Rush with it.

If anyone reading the comments has not gotten A-1000 and want the achievement and want some tips, here are mine: 1. To make it as easy as possible, bring a normal flashlight. 2. A-90 (the face) WILL be the only thing you die to, so what I did is to have the least possible contact with any part of my movement. The only thing I did was press the awd keys and have the least possible surface area of my hand in contact with my mouse so I can let go of it as quickly as possible. The only time I moved my mouse was to collect batteries and get into lockers. 3. Make sure that when entering the rooms, you don't have anything that would stop you from swapping the rift. This is because if you want to keep the tablet after reaching A-1000, you can't have a green flashlight in the rift and one in your hand (unfortunately for me), as it will not let you swap the tablet for the flashlight. Make sure this also applies to the item you have in your rift. (optionally you can also just empty it at the start to save you some trouble later) 4. I don't really have any tips left, but I guess if you don't like distractions don't have people near you when you are doing the challenge. Or if you like people talking to you so you have something to entertain yourself for 6+ hours of grinding, have people around you. Idk find your preferences that make you better and stick to them. (also if you hear A-60 and think its an ambience track, get in a locker anyway just to be sure) Otherwise, GOOD LUCK!!!

Apparently you can go for like 3-4 more before entering rooms, dont remember how many rooms behind you are able to visit before they close

The actual limit is 1,144 because Door 101 that's out of bounds and only accessible with exploits exists. It doesn't generate a room though so you can't go further. I'd say opening it is cheating so the actual limit without cheats is 1,143.

Today I saw your video and I was once again attracted by these Rooms and the achievement for completing it, which is why I got together today and completed them the first time in about 3-4 hours!! Yes, it's long, but I was too careful. Unfortunately, I couldn’t bring the camera from there into the rift because of the eyes that killed me on door 95, but I’m still very happy, because now I have indisputable proof of my coolness and patience! (Of course, I had been in rooms once before, but we didn’t go far with the person, but I won’t count this as the first time, only maybe introductory). At the end of my run my heart was beating faster, a very unusual feeling. Of course, the Rooms are not that difficult, but some A-90 can ruin everything. Hey, if you don't already know, putting a Bottle of Starlight (the big bottle you buy at the end of the Backdoor) into a rift (either the one at room 100 or at the reception desk) you will create a second yellow rift. You can store an item into the new rift, but taking an item out deletes the rift, so you'll have to go back to the Backdoor to get the Bottle of Starlight. I recommend putting your tablet in the yellow rift so you can use the main rift for other things.
