It was a pleasure meeting you Andrew, thank you for the amazing work you did with dad on his room. He can’t stop talking about it.

It is great to see the smile on the homeowner's face and you can feel the authenticity in his testimonial. Glad the madVR Envy could play a small role in his happiness. Kudos to the excellent work by Andrew and Enzo of HTE!

Calibration with ColourSpace,the K10-A and the Jetti 1511(not sure if he has the 2nm or 4nm. Seeing as he does projectors I’ll assume the 2nm hires version)with your product the accuracy would have been insane.

I laughed out loud when Paul was asked how many times he had played the race scene from Ready Player One. This is the go-to scene for so many of us HT enthusiasts. With each upgrade or tweak that we make, this scene is used to measure the performance. - Great room!

Hey thanks again for commenting! Yes Paul was stoked and we played that track over and over again!

Hi Andrew. Like many of those that watch these videos, I often fantasise about what my HT may become. Using rooms such as Paul’s as inspiration. Could you share a thought about the pros/cons of subwoofer placement behind a screen versus floor placement? I ask as I would like to one day have an ATS with LCRs. But as I have a shallow room, placing the subs behind a screen would likely reduce the throw distance, and overall image size. As the sub cabinet would likely be deeper than the LCRs.

That's no joke! The colors on the new Sony laser projectors are out of this world! The black level and contrast make the colors 3d looking! I also have the 5000es and it's a stunning projector for the money👍

This is exactly what I'm hoping you can do for my room when you get to the United States again! I know that my equipment isn't nearly as good(since I don't have anything close to a Trinnov or MadVR), but with your guidance on acoustic panels, as well as your calibration expertise, I'm confident that you'll be able to take my room to the next level! Cheers!

Love the look inside that theatre. I wanted to do something similar with the grey and dark red.

If you are using a projector you will never regret getting the room as dark and non reflective as you can. Thanks so much for your comment.

Thanks for the video. Can you comment something having made measurements of the change once the acoustic treatment has been applied and the sound has been recalibrated ? I'm talking about parameters like frequency decay, spectrogram, waterfall, etc, etc. It would be nice to be able to see some acoustic parameters in the room without acoustic treatment and with the acoustic treatment on. I can see from the owner's comments that he is very happy with the result. Written with translator Greetings

Hi thanks so much for your comment. Your request is a good and reasonable one. We are a little protective of our methods which is difficult because we also want to be open and share but we find once we publish our targets etc others just jump on board. But we Will seriously consider it. Thank you

Thank you for your kindness in answering and I fully understand what you are saying. First of all, I am just a hobbyist and I have nothing to do with the industry. Written with translator Greetings @@HomeTheatreEngineering

I thought I recognised the cube in the thumbnail. As a fellow ColourSpace user happy to see you using the software. Although I use it for my own personal calibrations and not professionally like yourself.

Andrew, when you closed the door of the room (at 1'33"), the 'thud' said it all. Paul, enjoy your fantastic room. What's the room dimensions please? Looks like a really nice size.
@HomeTheatreEngineering10 ай бұрын
Hi David. Yes I noticed that during editing. It did speak volumes ! I'll check this size with Paul. Hope you are well

Hi, the room is approximately 6 x 3.6 metres. I love it. If it wasn’t for the 2 bedrooms to one side, I would have had the seats a little closer to the 145” scope screen, and put a second row of seats in. Regards…Paul.

So where do you live Paul? I’m coming over for a demo 😄🙏🏻
