I can't help but think of how it has often been said that religion is a crutch, and that's more true than folks realize. I'd be the first to admit that I am a cripple. But in this man's case, with such convoluted religion combined with political ambition, you know the crutches are all part of the act. God weeps for fools like this, but I also think he laughs. I don't mean that God is sadistic and gets a kick out of watching men go out of there way to make their own way in his name. But in His holiness, he mocks the mockers. These men are surely mocking the way of truth. God will not be mocked. Thank God I know that He is my only crutch.
