TY,! I was born into and grew up in Pentecostal churches. I remember visiting..and hearing discussions about the LR theology. My parents didn’t agree with the extremes of the movement…however, the “ holiness” emphasis on the way one dressed and the vanity of jewelry…as well as , where one must not be seen was part and parcel of our home life. Sadly, my parents didn’t attend our school sports and music functions because of “ the appearance of evil.” As an adult, I left the extremes of those churches and parented my children very differently. Our family is so grateful for those decisions!

I read The Harvest back in 1990. It was published long before 2006. I liked the book at the time because I was in the Vineyard movement, and they had brought in the KC prophets. So this book appeared to validate what those KC prophets were saying. I have many concerns about all these prophecies now, 34 years later.

Yup, the Pentecostal church I went to, towards the end of my time there, there was a sermon about all of us "daring to be Elijah's" and "receiving the spirit of Elijah"...etc...ad infinitum ad nauseam...It sounded strange and felt weird at the time...now I know they were infected.

As a former rather extreme charismatic i followed the teachings of Myles Munroe. He said the Gospel of the Kingdom ( meaning Kingdom now ) should be preached to all nations before Jesus came back. He ment thah the Gospel might have been preached to all nations already ( salvation based Gospel ) but not the Kingdom now.
