He was a great example on how to live a life. He accumulated wealth but found time and selflessness to have a large family. Congratulations, Mr. Munger. You lived it well. May you rest in peace.

Pfff naive! The only reason these people have large families is to ensure a legacy of heirs who will inherit and manage their wealth in the future
@victorblock34217 ай бұрын
@@BT.channel Everyone had large families until liberalism took hold. Poor people usually had larger families. You make no sense.

Munger and Buffett have both achieved an incredible feat with Berkshire. They've turned thousands to billions, and have made a lot of people wealthy in the process. I really saw the potential of the stock market by reading Berkshire's annual letters. I recently sold my $674k apartment in the Bel Air area and I'm hoping to throw it into the stock market. I just don't want to lose everything.

Most people either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however, I think it is just best to invest in the S&P 500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-- lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.
@PatrickLloyd-7 ай бұрын
I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000
@sattler967 ай бұрын
I'm actually interested in this idea of investing through an analyst. Sounds like the most sensible thing to do in the market right now. Could you give me a pointer to who you work with, please?
@PatrickLloyd-7 ай бұрын
I personally work with ‘’ Vivian Carol Gioia'' she covers things like investing, insurance, making sure retirement is well funded, going over tax benefits, ways to have a volatility buffer for investment risk. many things like that. Just take a look at her full name on the internet. She is well known so it shouldn't be hard to find her.
@sattler967 ай бұрын
Thank you. I just checked her out now and I've sent an email. I hope she gets back to me soon. I've been thinking of doing this for a long time now, and I've procrastinated enough already.

Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.
@KatherineAnderson-lm8bw7 ай бұрын
Investors should exercise caution with their exposure and exercise caution when considering new investments, particularly during periods of inflation. It is advisable to seek guidance from a professional or trusted advisor in order to navigate this recession and achieve potential high yields.

Through closely monitoring the performance of my portfolio, I have witnessed a remarkable growth of $483k in just the past two quarters. This experience has shed light on why experienced traders are able to generate substantial returns even in lesser-known markets. It is safe to say that this bold decision has been one of the most impactful choices I have made recently.

Now how is money debt? For example, if the government want to build a infrastructure, they meet the bank for mortgage, the bank just typed $500,000,000 in their computer and send it to them with the exchange of government bond. This means the money that was borrowed as a debt from the bank has no value, so the banks exchange something with no value for something valuable. So money served as a debt to collect something valuable. The more you save money in the bank, the more the bank uses your paper money (which has no value) in exchange for something value like gold. So all you time working for money just to earn a penny is for waste because as you save it the bank still make more for it. So now learn how to do what the banks do. The bank knows how to make their money work for them by lending it for exchange for something valuable, you can also do that by investing in real estate or land or companies, the stock market, transportation and more. The message is, don't save money in the bank, the more you save your money, the more it being taxed and they are using it to make more money for themselves. Be wise.. They aren’t tech savvy; which is probably why they’ve underperformed S&P since the dawn of the digital age. Munger and Buffet were great investors, in their era; I quote them all the time. I hear Alot of people saying "how can they become rich". What I keep on telling them is that if you want to be rich you should not work for money. 90% of money is debt, if you want to be rich you need to know how to use debt to become rich. Before 1971 the united states dollar was backed up by the gold standard - that means every single dollar in the bank was having a gold standard on it. So after 1971, the united states president remove dollar from the gold standard so now dollar 💵 is not back by anything. Now the banks can keep on printing Alot cash as they want in exchange for value item like gold, government securities. 0:34
