One thing that makes me flip out is whenever someone just snatches your sketchbook whenever you're drawing. They just go, "hEy, watcha dRawinG?" Then they walk away with the entire thing.

It's ok everyone has a different liking in art. And you will get better I showed a piece of art I drew like 8 year ago and a more recent art to my mum and my mum liked the older one. But I showed the same art to my cousin and she liked the newer one it's just comes down to who you ask

im in elementary school bit im about to go to middle school but my art through 3-5 (which is when i started to get serious about art) i think i progressed very well, yet my 3 gtade art was horrifying... but im glad with my art as a 5th grader.

Seeing the "terrible" means your eye for anatomy or shapes is improving. What's important is you should focus on one element to improve at a time so you don't get overwhelmed or quit.

I remember my one of my old art teachers called my work sloppy and rushed after I spent all of class on it. She saw how proud I was of it and she tried to make me think it was bad. I was in second grade. All of my class mates seeing what had happened said it was good and that I should be proud of it.

I like how she doeen’t talk bad about her old art like “omg this is soo embarrassing, I was soo bad.” This makes people who draw worse than that feel bad.Thanks for the confidence and hope

2:15 Something I did the other day. I was drawing a character of mine, Betara- the leader of the water witches. I kind of drew her underwater in a cute pose. I liked her face so far, and I was afraid to mess up the other eye- so I drew a cute lil angel fish over where her right eye would be xD Still came out well though, which I am shocked about.
