We would love to welcome you to Eritrea. Despite being labeled as a bad country by many, Eritrea is a beautiful and welcoming country. If you decide to visit, you will see for yourself. Eritrea is a country that believes in self-reliance and does not depend on Western aid. Due to the American policy towards Eritrea, you may not find positive information about our country on Google, as we do not rely on Western aid.

The fight between tadej and jonas moves us in more than the purely sporting sense. As I see it, it is also a battle between two types - the extroverted and risk-averse and, on the other hand, the down-to-earth and industrious and strategic. We as humans have to have both sides to cope. As a Dane, I of course wants Jonasto win, but I like Tadej very much.

Eritreans are also great marathon runners as well. Countries benefit from adapting to high altitudes in East Africa, which helps in endurance sports like marathons and cycling. Also culture, Italians brought cycling to us which was perfect for our body types and our terrain being so high like others mentioned. Same thing with long distance running, a mix bag of having the perfect body type for it because living in mountain regions. Eritrea is the only of the 3 colonized by Italy, and I think that’s where the cycling.🇪🇷

@@cardboardcrawlersrc8805 I don't think anyone with just a little bit of interest in cycling doesn't know about his backstory. That said he is actually a great bikehandler (good on downhill and in TT's) but he lacks focus and sleeps too often in the peloton. That could be due to a lack of early experience riding the peloton. But personally I don't think so. Some riders just seem to be groundmagnets like that no matter their backstory.

I remember living in Catonia, Sicily serving the US Navy, back in 1993. I had just started my cycling passion in arguibly the most historic nation in the world, Italy. What a gift Italy was for me. The big buzz in Italy that year was the hope of Claudio Cuppuchi winning the 93 World Championship. Its wouldve completed & capped a more than fanatastic career placing Cuppuchi as one Italys Great cyclist. But the next day, some guy from the US did a late solo breakaway and out of nowhere, beat Cuppuchi and Miguel Indurain to win the 1993World Championship in Islo. The Italians where pissed, is an understatement!! And I remember asking somebody, "who the fuck is Lance Armstrong!!!!?' Lance Armstrong is a muthrfxking BEAST! MUCH RESPECT, AND THANKS BRO!!

Lance is absolute right with all of those obstacles in the roads. It could cost lifes. Good vibes in the show. Thank you for that. Be blessed.

They basically fence up half the city, whenever there’s a bike race in Eritrea. 🇪🇷 kids would sneak in as early as 4am so they can avoid paying and watch the races for free.mind you the Elites don’t start racing till close to 11am 😅

I heard you want to visit Eritrea What a big game changer for Eritrea especially for the cycling family, let me tell you something you're gonna hear a lot of negative news I think you even heard it but believe me it is a peaceful country no one is going to attack you or try to steal you you can walk any time any where freely without guard, you will surprise just go and see.by the way you well known and loved one you have a lot support actually like all the country some even have neck name by your name

Armstrong was CR9 of most Eritrean bicycle fans. And i would like WEDU to visit Eritrea, when Bini was back home. So we would receive you as our honourable guests.

You have no honor if you honor a cycling outcast like Armstrong. I bet Eritrea is so used to corruption that you don't mind.
