Too bad they are all sold out. I ended up buying a Conquest BFS instead!

Hey Dan! Probably not a bad choice imho. While the reel is quite nice to use and have I am struggling to find a real need for the reel. Will share my findings in my short term impressions video. Cheers my friend!

Hey hairu! Hm I wouldn’t say that it is 100% salt ready but it does have a lot of attributes that make it more resistant to corrosion. I would use the reel in salt as I maintain all of my reels. Maintenance is the key to making a reel more salt resistant imho. My only issue with continuing to use this reel for salt is the IPT/CMPT. As it is on the slower side it might not be the best choice for areas with a lot of current or use for cranks that need a faster retrieve. Instead it’s probably better suited to calm waters and soft plastic lures. Hope that helps and cheers my friend!

@@BFSFISHINGCHANNEL 6lb line, 6-10g total weight paddle tails tends to be the most efficient way to fish them. if the bite gets slow put on a zman trd instead and slow down the presentation. go 5g jig if the bites hot. go down to 2.5 if it gets slow. EASY FISH!!!!

@@BFSFISHINGCHANNEL also 6lb line drop shot with a 2 inch berkley gulp minnow is a straight cheat code. but i find that style of fishing more boring and prefer the swimjigs.

Hey Jon! Actually it’s not quite a backlash as it happened towards the end of the cast. I simply didn’t thumb the very end of the cast is all. The mode I was using is advanced mode which does not heavily brake at the end of the cast and allows the user to thumb the spool. I did not as I was filming the slow motion capture and just wanted to show the overall braking. The dbc system managed the cast quite well imho. Cheers my friend!

bait caster 🤮🤮
@BFSFISHINGCHANNELАй бұрын
Hey user! You are definitely more than welcome to not like or prefer baitcasters but they have a place and many folks enjoy them quite a bit. Personally, I’ve been using spinning reels all my life and have found them to be extremely inaccurate and also a bit in the boring side to fish with. Baitcasters offer a lot more fun, excitement and accuracy over spinning setups. Each style has its own pros and cons for sure though. Anywho, even though you don’t seem to appreciate baitcasters I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment! Cheers my friend!

Hey jimon! Haha soon! Trying to get more use out of the reel. Sadly I haven’t gotten any large fish lately. Spring is over so it seems like the bigger bass are back to not eating lures lol. Will have to keep at it! That said, even without a big fish caught I’ll get a video out soon =). Cheers my friend!
