Thank you for making yet another influential tutorial. Up until now I have steered away from subscription music production tools, plug-ins, etc. But it is the quickest way to turn up some decent beats (its a new concept for me at least). I will seriously give this product a try. It's $8 bucks a month but might prove well worth it in fun alone.

Hi Matt! Great channel! I was wondering if you could help me with a question I have I know it’s not related to this video but I’m looking everywhere and I can’t find the answer… it’s easy to set the polyphony on the drum program, but how do I do it on the clip program?? I’m using the MPC live 2 with the 2.10 firmware, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Mattehw and thanks for your content! Just a question about mpc one i dont find answer on the net: volume level of my headphone (aiaiai tma2 studio 32ohm) sounds so high comparing to rear main out, infact my jbl104bt needs to increase volume knob on the mpc one to give out a decent volume level (and headphone became unusable)…why? There is a soution? Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge! ;)

Hey Matt I have this issue with my full level on my mpc live I hope you can help me with. When having a snare program, on the first trigger the sound sounds lower than the rest of the notes. Is there something on the settings I can fix?

My go to source for all things MPC One! Hey Matthew, hoping you can help me out with this issue I have with certain expansion packs I’ve loaded into my MPC One. When I audition expansion sounds (for example a bass), some expansions have a little demo after the individual notes that plays a short melody of the sound and it always has xpm or something like that next to it. I can only load the (bass) sound by loading that melody, but certain expansions don’t have the xpm short melody of the sound, only the individual notes, and for some reason I can’t load those sounds. It’ll say that it’s loaded but I can’t find it to play/hear it. Sorry this was so long and hope that made sense. Thanks!

If you are loading keygroup programs you just need to make sure you change your track type to keygroup and then select the keygroup program that you loaded.

Matthew, can i ask you a question before i go insane this is off topic but hey really trying to get yr attention........... will make this quick bud,,, i have a pc, mpc one, studio monitors, and audiobox usb96, Now here is my issue i ant to play my electric guitar using plugins (neural dsp) which run through the dai no problem now i also want to be able to connect mpc one in standalone to the dai and run drum loops ect i watched your video on connecting the mpc one 2.10 to the dai (digital audio interface) and works well, but i cant use my plugin from pc to change the guitar tone through the mpc one while running beats as pc shows the dai not connected because its powered from the mpc one via usb..hope this kinda makes sense so im happy to reinvest in new gear but how??? do i get a dai with more inputs or can i use midi din in & out or get a mixer my head is spinning bud. hope you can point me in the right direction again great work great videos thanks john

Honestly, a simple solution is to use your computer and audiobox with the MPC Software if it works with it. Put your MPC One in controller mode, and select your audiobox interface in the software. Also, I would plug your interface directly into you computer. If your computer can't handle it maybe get a guitar fx sim (standalone) and plug it into he MPC One to get good guitar tones.

Man, I'm having difficulty getting Akai MK3 working in my DAW - always used Tascam or Zoom R24 but I want more separation-- Thanks for a great video..

You mean the Akai MPK mini MK3? What DAW are you using?

@@PsyJaye Cakewalk top left Edit drop down preferences. Open widow select Midi devices then select the MK3 in the input options. From there you can program it for anything you want it to do.

Hey Matthew Idk if you remember me or not but we spoke last year. to cut to the chase man i am having software issues with my MPC ONE i cant download anything from splice and my internal saved songs will delete themselves. Maybe you can enlighten me with some positive insight hopefully leading me right to the source. I appreciate all the videos you take the time to do for us, It means a lot sir. You're awesome

I highly recommend getting a USB dongle or SD card to save your projects and splice sounds onto. You might have filled up the internal drive. You may have filled up the internal drive. Not a lot of room on there.
