I honestly wondered what happened to you. I enjoyed the knowledge you dropped. A handful of people put down on the Akai way of doing things. You were among the most instrumental of that small group of people who got me straightened out. Glad you are back on the scene doing what you enjoy.

Now YES! I still watch a lot of your videos, since the system is the same, but now I'm glad for you, and I hope to learn a lot more directly to my same machine. I agree that Live2 is more for live performances. I'm still a newbie trying to solve any problem and getting everything done. So, I'm pretty satisfied using in homestudio only. In my country, for example (Brazil), if you go to your house gate with one of these, someone will steal at the same minute. Congratulations, and keep being this very nice guy and professor. Just got a Live II yesterday. Bought so I can leave the studio and still make beats. The speaker is surpringly good and loud. It's larger than I thought. Love it so far.

So glad that you are back, Matthew. Definitely missed your videos, but I hope everything is okay with you. Since you have both the MPC One and the Live II, is it much of a difference in terms of having fewer dedicated buttons on the Live II versus the MPC One? I dislike have to menu dive so much, but since I don't own or ever used a Live II, I don't have any perspective. Basically, is it much of a difference to navigate between the two machines? Mathew - Im glad your back! - your tutorials always shoot straight from the hip . I am getting an Akai force , wondering what daw I can stem tracks out to ? ( if any) will it be Ableton only ? or could one expect to be able to use logic or even GarageBand? Aye Brother welcome back I've followed this page awhile I could of swore you had a live already I had a live 1 then I got a live 2 and I sold the live 1 but I regret doing that because I have been getting some annoying and frustrating bugs and error messages on the live 2 that I NEVER have gotten from the live 1 I believe and hope it's just the current update but I get an error that sometimes says invalid serial and no control surface os available also it freezes and glitches somtimes makes you worried to lose work. The latest erro message I get but haven't gotten in like a week is the one that says no audio device can be found when you go to preferences in audio internal is not there to even select its just blank try starting over and it is the same until the unit decides otherwise I've read a lot of different forms and comments some say it's a bug from update others say it's a hardware issue but I hope it's just a bug because it's been working lately haven't got that error message in a week now and it freezes somtimes but glitches back this all only started happening since August I've had the live 2 since February just wanted to share that peace ✌🏽

Hey Matthew! I'm hesitating between the Live II and the Force. I'm not much of a sampling guy but I use a bunch of external synths and a modular setup. Seems like the Force would be the obvious choice but since you've had both, I'd like to hear your opinion. Thank you and good to have you back!

Keep pushing.. Everything thing pans out at God speed.. I watch your channel a lot .. I use the MPC live 2 , I had a MPC 2000 .. floppy 😮 , went to Maschine by NI .. For Computer integration.. in 2009.. Can you make 2 videos . Please .. Pad / Parameters .. I like to assign a Sample to Pad 1 and then copy that sample to additional pads. 2-16 … then edit. On the Maschine you had a Dedicated Duplicate button , to quickly copy your sample to multiple pads within a group/ program.. pad 1 , then copy to 2-15 .. all in 1 bank/ group.. from there edit / truncate/ discard .. the unwanted audio.. I know the MPC offers Chop .. feature.. but I want to copy the sample to multiple pads within the same bank .

I’m looking for a Good universal Expansion pack .. to purchase for standalone workflow.. What do you recommend.. I need a good range of synth sound . Leads , bass line, guitar, chords, etc a Well rounded Expansion to Record something nice , without external keyboards/rack mounts

Sample on Pad A01 / Bank A , then Copy that Same Sample to Pad A02-A16 all on Bank A .. 1 Sample on all 16 Pads.. instantly .. , Now go into Trim page .. Set start /end points .. Discard .. unwanted Audio.. Fast work flow .. with samples.. I think this is call Pad Parameters on MPC .. But Don’t see any Good You tube Videos..
