What was your favorite moment in Logan?

This movie really made me sad from beginning to end. Seeing Logan so weak throughout the film when he's always been such a untouchable beast.

I'll say, when Laura turned Logan's cross into an X, that hit me unexpectedly hard. I found it hard to say goodbye to Hugh's Logan after 17 years. But whatever happens in the future of the franchise, Hugh Jackman will always be the Wolverine.

This movie was heavy in terms of emotion and tone. Seeing Xavier wheelchair stricken and basically delusional broke my heart his death also completely shocked me and honestly made me shed a few tears, the man poured his heart out to who he thought was Logan only to be stabbed in the chest by the same adamantium claws. When that scene happened, everyone in the theater went dead silent, it was eerie as fuck. I've grown up watching Hugh Hackman play wolvernine and this movie was such a brilliant send off to his amazing character. As sad as I was with Logan dying in the end I felt like it was right, he destroyed his demons (literally and figuratively) got revenge and ultimately saved his daughter who he finally acknowledged on his death bed. This movie is amazing and I'm so glad that we were all fortunate enough to have such an amazing portrayal of wolverine done by Hugh jackman.

I can't post this on my facebook because I obviously would be judged. But does anyone feel like part of your childhood came to an end? I know previous generations got comics and I'm jealous that you had so many issues. But my generation, we have them in the flesh through movies. Sure, some of them are terrible but man.... Seventeen years of him as my wolverine. Really hit me hard to know that chapter is over. Ugh... Okay, I made my peace. Hope you guys liked the film as much as I did. Hugh, thank you for the ride.

That must be why Logan kept insisting that Professor Charles take his medicine. He didn't want the professor to remember the "killings" that he did in Westchester (which happened after Days of Future Past) So sad... :(

This is my list of favorite Wolverine Movies 1. Logan 2. X-Men 2 3. X-Men 4. The Wolverine 4. X-Men 3 5. X- Men Origins The whole time continuum distorted movies were not good in my opinion so I personally do not see them as cannon.

I absolutely LOVED this movie. I haven't seen such a good comic book movie since The Dark Knight. The ONLY thing I think "Logan" could have done better was to utilize its villains. There was so much more potential for the main villain Pierce to be more threatning and iconic. Imagine if he was more like how Gary Oldman was in Léon; just absolutely ruthless all the way.

Its so sad because I grew up watching Hugh Jackman as the only wolverine, and i never thought he could be replaced, and I dont think any actor would come close to his legacy.

I wouldn't like anyone other than Huge Jackman to play the role of Wolverine.

Logan's bones are covered in a rare valuable metal, people search for his grave and dig it up. They find Logan's body surprisingly intact, he wakes up, kills them all and runs off to a remote corner of Canada. Being the loner that he is, he lives peacefully for years unnoticed.

So...no one is going to point out that the redhead in The Wolverine's premonition about Logan dying with him holding his heart on his hand can metaphor him holding Laura before dying TT

even if they did bring back Wolverine, it wouldn't be the same or as good as Hugh Jackman's interpretation.

Whew this video made me feel so much better. I'm not really the biggest fan of the X-men except for a few key characters like Wolverine and I just finished Logan and I felt like my childhood died in two hours. But I knew they had to revive him or something( hopefully). And hearing that Hugh Jackman was done as Wolverine killed me. But after watching this video I feel so much better thank you.

If the producers know whats good for them ( and for business!) they wont attempt to reboot wolverine with another actor within ther next decade, or better , within jackmans lifetime, cause whoever is the unlucky schmock , who gets the "honor" to put on the claws, he will be BOMBARDED with fan-hatred and whatever script they put into it, is bound to suck. Hugh Jackman had THAT BIG of an impact on both the character and the francise , in my opinion.

Am I the only one who gets The Last of Us vibes from this movie?

It would have been cool if Magneto came to wolverines grave and said "I just wanted the mutants to live" or something along those lines and then removed the metal from his body setting up the perfect ending in all of history

Looper can I ask why did Logan died just in a branch when he's skeleton is made out of adamantium even when he don't have he's healing factor there is no way a shard wood will cut to adamantium

The opening of the movie was a awesome fight with the Latinos trying to steal his tires and he is drunk as fuck 😂 When they were beating him up and then you hear that Wolverine Growl goosebumps where all over me! The action in that part was awesome! Limbs flying every where it was just so cool that we got a R rated Wolverine Movie..Finally

I havent read manny comics but i have a theory... kinda. ( this will get spoilery so read at your own risk.) At the end they shoot Logan's clone ( i guess that would be the right way to call him). What if that clone regenerates like Logan did in X-Men Origins: Wolverine at the end when he is shot in the head. He would have amnesia and he is near canada and its forest... Like Logan used to be all over again.

Just watched it. And it is Nothing Short of a Masterpiece. The bar for the rest of 2017 is set Astronomically High. I started tearing up right in the beginning, maybe it's because I have a soft spot for elderly people but just seeing both Logan and Charles like that was absolutely heart breaking. I laughed and I Cried and I Cried some more. And man, I hate the young Wolverine now, he was a dick in this movie.

Just wondering if the movie had ended with "There ain't no grave can hold my body down...." in the backdrop. Would have been epic, I suppose.. But overall just an awesome closure to Hugh Jackman's iconic Wolverine..

Since adamantium is stronger and lighter than stainless steel and titanium alloy, both which have a very low deterioration rate and are ideal food grade metals. Adamantium would theoretically take at minimum hundreds of years before it started to break down, probably thousands of years.

did anyone else find it amusing during the final act when Logan told Laura that she would know when, and he proceeds to confront Dr. Xander, zander begins his monologue and is abruptly blasted in the throat and Laura immediately knew to take action. I thought there was going to be some signal or something lol

I thought throughout the movie Laura and x-24 were symbolic of the two different sides of wolverine. Laura symbolizing the goodness of Logan, while x-24 symbolized Logan's savagery. So when at the end of the movie, Laura kills x-24 showing that Logan's true humanity wins over that savage aspect of himself. Showing he was a force of good in the world.

If another actor plays Wolverine, he will have to be as good or better than Hugh in order to not get shit on. Good luck with that one.

Huge Jackman is a triple threat. So extremely talented. He sings dances and plays a mean rolllll. It will be tough to find a replacement for such an amazing talent. The one who take the torch will be under tremendous scrutiny and pressure.

I was 6 years old when I first saw Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Now 19, wow not only does time fly away but one of Patrick Stewart's greatest speech is in the end of Star Trek Generations, NOT Next Generation, just "Generations". When his memorable ship crashed the first officer was sad and depressed, so Patrick questioned; " What is time ? A life form -a God - a demension unknown ?" He said "time is not your enemy that wants to stalk you and hurt you like it did to the first officer because he'll never be Capitan of that ship", he continued by saying "it's a friend that reminds you to cherish every single minute of the moment, because it will never come back, it just passes by and never ever stops. Just sobbed at that line in my head and this movie together because it is like crazy that this is it for Hugh as playing wolverine. MAYBE he will still play him he might heal and rise up, but I doubt it.

Actually, Fox only has the rights to X-men and the term mutants. There's a lot of characters that are associated with the X-men that Marvel has their hands on.

I believe wolverine is going to come back, but not Logan, if you remember at the end of xmen origins logan get shot in the head with an adimantium bullet not killing him but wiping his memory because his brain comes back but his memory can't, and if you remember at the end of Logan the artificial fake young Logan gets shot in the head with an adimantium bullet and he will heal but he also won't have any of his memories

You know everyone is talking about Logan's and Xavier's death. But what about that family at the farm. Went out basically the same as the older couple at the farm from one of the old wolverine movies where logan bursts out the barn on the motorcycle. But then again, retrospect, its completely their fault for being so trusting in an evil world, don't invite strangers into your home like that.

I have a problem with why Logans healing abilities fail. I've never read the comics fyi. The adamantium in his body was poisoning him? from what i gathered from the movie. how is this possible? Jean has flayed him to the bone over and over and he regenerated so fast. I don't think it would be possible at all to poison him even if its a constant thing. any help? something in the comics that say otherwise?
