Aussie actor Robert Taylor is perhaps best known as Sheriff Walt Longmire in the hit series "Longmire," which ran from 2012 to 2017. Longmire was made for Robert Taylor! Absolutely perfect fit! I hate to say this but I have never seen RT in anything in the US! I was amazed how good RT was in Longmire & why I haven’t seen RT in other movies before now I know the answer to that RT is from Australia! Apparently he loves his Australia & his life there & there is nothing wrong with that! All I can say I’m hoping there is more Series of Longmire so we can enjoy watching RT on this show again! RT is a fabulous actor!

He just nails this role. It’s like it was written with him in mind. I understand that a movie series of ‘Longmire’ a good possibility. That came from RTs own mouth. I hope he’s right. I call him the new Clint Eastwood.

yeah i have been pretty impressed with Robert in longmire, didn't recognise him in the matrix, i have just started watching season 3 over here in the uk and i have enjoyed it due to spending 20 years on & off in Canada & America, i can relate to some of the tension on the reservations as it is like that in places,

Interestingly enough that happened to me. I picked up the first book because I was such a fan of the show and basically, it was like someone had chopped up the book into chunks and sprinkled it throughout the show. It kind of put me off and I stopped after the first one. Which sucks, because I really wanted my Longmire fix and had I never watched the show, I probably would've thought the books were great.

There was a leading man actor named Robert Taylor from the 1930-60s. There's an old racist cartoon called Jungle Jitters (1938) where they have caricatures of Robert Taylor and Clark Gable. He was considered incredible handsome and charming for most of his career.
