Today I'm sharing with you a card heavily inspired by CeeCee from creationsceecee on KZfaq. I recently found her videos thanks to a commenter on one of my videos, and I just fell in love with her art! I love her loose watercolor style! I was so inspired that I wanted to try out her loose watercoloring on my own. I briefly chatted with CeeCee on Instagram and she was totally okay with me sharing my experimentation using her techniques in a new video. Thanks, CeeCee! So here we go!

Dear Kristina. You are truly awesome and I look forward to seeing you videos. As a senior citizen it is so great to find a kind person. I read somewhere that someone said cardmakers were kind and giving. Having dealt with several designers they were not kind and in fact rude and very unkind to there followers, sometimes people get to big for there britches. I was so thrilled for CeeCee to see Kristina showcase her work. So well deserved. Not to mention how this sharing speaks to Kristina's character as a person and as an artist. But we all knew that KW is a class act and oozes integrity. However, there are a lot of artists that would never mention another artist's name on their channel, let alone promote her and recommend her viewers check out another artist's channel. This is a huge win-win for the entire KZfaq art community in my opinion. Thanks KW and congrats to CeeCee!

This was certainly a different technique for you and actually I loved it. The final piece is beautiful and what a lovely card it made. Keeping in your minds eye where the colors should go after the floral stamp was on top of the coloring....geeze....brilliant, at least to me! ceecee does have a beautiful way of creating with watercolors. Gorgeous, beautiful card. I love your watercoloring technique in that it was random coloring rather than perfectly following the lines. I am inspired to try the dry brush technique, too.

you did cece proud i would say. what a great job you did!!!!! i love this sooooo much. i try to do the messy loose under painting but i find myself wanting to follow the lines. this is such a better way to keep it messy because there are no lines there. you are looking at the stamp and approximating where the color will go and are not going to want to stay neatly within lines that aren't there. i will be doing this on my next floral i watercolor. thanks so much for sharing!

Right on Kristina! So glad you heard us, we knew you would LOVE CeeCee like we do. We were two of the ones who received these CeeCee Creations traveler’s notebooks when she taught at an Art retreat we attended with her (& 3 other fabulous multi media artists) a few weeks ago! Perhaps next time you try her style of watercolor, (she taught us to) choose only 3 colors that you know would mix well together on paper. This allows the colors to stay so vibrant....and of course, after doodling (or stamping) highlight with white and a gold/ rose gold or another metallic. 👍❤️🌟. Teresa & Randy, Fort Collins, Colorado

Kristina you really came out of the box. I think for a first attempt it came out great. The more you do it the more you will learn about how to handle it. So if having a more free look is what you want keep going for it. and doing it over and over. I loved the way the final result looked. I wish my first attempts looked like this....but they don't..
