You captured the spirit of the pheasant so well. I grew up on a farm in SW Michigan and watched them many times. Thank you for sharing this. It brought back so many wonderful memories from my now distant childhood. 🙏❤️🖖

I love this~ one thing I always struggle with..I cannot seem to keep water on my paper. If I put a good brushload on, it just runs down the page...otherwise I don't put enough and it dries up quickly....how are you keeping it on the surface just where you want it with your paper at an angle and it stays there throughout your painting process?? Can you tell me what I'm missing?? Thank you...and for this wonderful video!

Hi Suzanne thanks for watching...I paint flat so the water stays were I place it and use a large brush so I get lots of water in place...it may helps

Lol...well that just makes perfect sense, painting flat. I had to look again at your video. At first it looked to me like you were painting on an easel. It looked like some sort of frame or monitor screen and a plug outlet on the left, but now I see your paint tubes and pencil, and I'm quite sure they are not being suspended up there on the right side of your board by magic ;) But then again, your painting is magic! Thanks again for the great video!

Beautiful music but I found it distracting, would have much preferred a commentary as to what you were doing to achieve such a lovely painting ( wet on wet or wet or wet on dry for example)
