Lol retail price? The value of that crate at production cost (which is what they get is at) is like 5 bucks. Plus, if I saw any of these things at a retail store I wouldn't buy them anyways, that's seriously a box of junk.

***** The issue with the marvel ice cube tray isn't that it's cheap, it's more that it's stupid. The marvel ice cube tray is 10 bucks new on amazon. It's actually really well built - made from good silicon and with a rectangle of perpendicular silicon reinforcing it on the bottom, something even my silicon "companion cube" ice cube tray (yes, I bought one ages ago when Portal 2 was the big new thing, no, I don't regret it) doesn't have. The issue is more: Why would you want ice cubes with 1 side that vaguely looks like a reference? Molded ice cube trays are only worth it when it's all in a design (except for the top), instead of just the bottom being a design and the rest being a vague shape. Not to mention "the thing" will never look good as an ice cube, it's way too complex of a design.
