10 ай бұрынI've saved almost all my cash in splatoon 3 for the past year and recently reached the maximum of 10 million. I decided that the most logical way of using my wealth was spending it all on a gacha mechanic. This was livestreamed on my channel for everyone to watch (and make fun of) my descent into addiction.
My goal was to roll a gold banner, a 1/1000 chance that I've been unable to hit all year. Will today finally be my lucky day, or will I leave with an empty hand and an empty wallet? You'll have to watch the video (or read one of the inevitable comments that spoils everything) to find out.

@@Joebama87 it teaches you how to upload your data and find your seed for gear and the shell out machine under the option "seed listing" After you upload your data. No hacking needed. Very easy!

The reason why you sometimes get two adjectives is because you are getting two (different gendered) nouns, and they might want both nouns to show the adjective. In other languages it makes more sense because the adjectives are also gendered, so it would show the corresponding gender for them. But when you get into the menu to change your splashtag, it only shows one adjective and it will automatically switch to the correct gender.

not to be that guy but those probabilities are wrong probability of getting one (or more) gold from 333 rolls is approx 28.3% chance, and probability of one (or more) silver is 63.2% chance, close enough though hahah (a silver from one roll is 3/1000 (from the wiki) not 1/500 which is actually slightly higher)

For anyone interested, to do proper calculations of probably, you have to find the chance of your outcome not happening. In this case, given that the gold capsule has a 1/1000 chance, for one roll the probably of not getting a gold capsule is 999/1000. You then raise that value to the power of however many attempts you do at that chance, in this case coming to (999/1000)^333 (or a little higher including the conch shells and/or challenge tokens), which evaluates to ≈0.71665 You then have to subtract this value from 1 (because probability always adds to 1, and this is the chance of not getting a gold capsule), which comes to ≈0.28335, or a 28.3% chance. Of course, the shell out machine is seeded rng so none of this really matters, if your gold capsule isn’t seeded in your next 3000 attempts, no amount of calculating probabilities (around a 95% chance of getting one in 3000 pulls) will help you get it faster
