Today we are talking about my favourite bad guy from the Power Rangers Universe, Lord Drakkon. The evil, alternate reality version of Tommy Oliver from the Boom studios power ranger comics.

Personally, I believe that the reason why everyone fans love Drakkon is because he is literally the only evil Ranger to succeed in triumphing over he enemies and bring his ambitions to fruition.

It’s really just an Injustice version of Power rangers in a way. They’re set up to “succeed” so they can fall in the main story.

I would love to see his back story. I also agree it is cool that we see . What if Tommy stayed evil I seen some where. Maybe in something I can't remember what but someone said to someone . You choose this path so that means in . A alternate world that you chose the other path . Because the world's are the same but opposite of each other . You go right here but there you go left. Something like that so it's cool to see it . Not just to hear it like a hypothetical kinda thing . Side note just emagine if a good Tommy fused. The green an White ranger powers together . That would also be cool to see .

He was obviously good at one point just like our Tommy he would have been a good person as a child. He also still would have been the white stranger desendent just like our Tommy. Only difference he took a darker path. Wonder if his son also evil. Probably not since Katherine probably wouldn't be attracted to him. What made katherine and Kimberly attractive to him was the good person he was but Darkon none of that anymore so probably no JJ. Hey maybe him and Karone ak astronema would have worked in this alternate timeline.

i had an idea that when this comic was coming out it dabbled in some time travel shenanigans, Drakkon, with all of his fused powers and the one to beat him would have been the future Tommy of the TV show with his master morpher A veteran Ranger who is the embodiment of Evil VS a veteran Ranger is the ideal model of what a Power Ranger truly is coming to blows

Lord Drakkon is one of the Most powerful rangers alright. Using two portions of the Grid compared to other rangers that only use one portion. Each grid is usually meant to be divided among the spectrum so they can handle the amount of power the grid provides. But I don't think there's ever been a ranger to ever use an entire section of the grid themselves. That much power loaded onto one ranger alone would require someone beyond human.

actually he didn’t take the white powers from jason. in his world they were created as an upgrade. when he interrupted jason getting the upgraded, they were automatically fused with his damaged powers. Complete accidental freak accident.

I've started work on a Power Ranger/Digimon crossover fanfic with Drakkon as the main villain. It will be dedicated to JDF. Now if anyone sees this I need a feminized version of Drakkon's name. I feel like he'd be vain enough to name even his daughter after himself.

I think that Drakkon _believes_ he hates Tommy for being "weak", but in actuality... He hates him because he wishes that he would have made the choice Tommy did to join the Rangers and fight evil. He fucked up... And he knows it. So he'll *DESTROY IT!*

Lord Drakkon is such a great and perfect villain. Origins from The first MMPR and still relevant 30 years later… only thing is I Think they missed an opportunity with his Zord. “Black Dragon” seems random and lazy 🤷 … but maybe thats just me 😏

Well, my Good Rangers are really in trouble because I have built an entire Evil Rangers team; Lord Drakkon/evil Tommy, Ranger Slayer/evil Kimberly, villain Blaze fudged as evil Red/Jason, Movie Yellow/evil Trini, Movie Pink/evil Kat, Green Ranger David Trueheart! On top of that I have 6 Psycho Rangers with Silver ordered, complete A Squad ordered, I have Astronema and I am temporarily giving her the ordered 4 Cogs, and I have Zedd, Rita, Goldar, Scorpina ordered, and 20 regular Puttys! So, even though I will have 3 complete Rangers teams MMPR, Zeo, and In Space, with some others in various stages, I would say my Good Rangers are outnumbered and out powered right now.

Nobody sets out to be a villain. You simply make one questionable choice for what seems like a very good reason after another and before you know it you can't even remember what the point of no return looked like when you crossed it

Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger The series that began the franchise, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (an American adaptation of the 1992 Japanese Super Sentai Series, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger), began broadcasting as part of the Fox Kids block of programing that aired on the FOX network. It lasted for three seasons (from 1993 to 1996).

I never even knew there were power ranger comics until I came across the live action Drakkon vid. One thing I do question though is how does he have the white ranger powers (which were made from light) if he is the ultimate villian. Shouldn't those powers no longer work for him if he's the ultimate bad guy. It might have been explained in the comics but I still need to get round to actually reading them.

I always thought it odd that a higher dimensional being such as Zordon would bestow such power to random teenagers..... granted its a kids show i know and the super hero vibes are there. But as with this version of Tommy showing that even Heroes had a darkness in their core somewhere. Similar to the Justice League going rogue in some timelines or Superman turning into a cold dictator, I find it odd that we didn't see a team of Rangers defect and go rogue for their own benefit until Drakkon if I'm not mistaken.

@@tristan9648 There's other ways to watch it. I was on zeo when I cancelled my netflix. I'm now on lost Galaxy. But tbh power rangers is leaving netflix in the UK I don't know if that also means the us or worldwide. Their contract expired And you would think netflix as a whole would sign one contract if a show is across multiple countries. It sounds easier to write up one contract instead of 20. I use a different method to watch the power rangers currently.

If I had the ultimate power of immortality and control reality, I would not be hero. Nor a villain. Just a dimensional drifter. If I feel someone, people or a race/planet is deserving of saving, I'd help. But otherwise, I'd probably drift about, trolling Galactic warlords or something. Basically Doctor Who, but more morally Grey.

What if in another universe Tommy was good and became a power ranger just like the original. Everything was the same except In this earth instead of throwing Bulk into a bucket he kills him accidentally. Kimberly asks what he do then police officers try to arrest him. He runs away and goes on the run. He then get surrendered by the cops and morphs. He kills them. He then ends up becoming the bad guy that would be an interesting storyline. I wonder what Zordon would do if one of the power rangers committed a crime and was wanted by the cops. By the way I would love an earth were Tommy murders Bluk and Skull.

I want to see all of the Rangers from season 1 to season 29 They will be separated and team up with the other rangers to create a team to see who is the strongest power rangers and then will realize they were played by the villain to destroy their teamwork and destroy one another then the new set of Ranger team (season 30) will help the other Previous Rangers to Defeat each enemy/villian of each team I hope the new rangers in the new season (30th season) will consist of Red: Kyuranger Blue: Lupin Blue Yellow: Oni Sister Pink: Patoranger Green: Toqger Black: Zyuoh the World Gold: TwoKaiser Silver: Kiramager

@@tempest4247 Maybe with Decade but not Oma Zio. Oma Zio has the power of all riders who once and will exist. He had Kuuga nuclear power punch and kicks, Kabuto super speed, Evol black hole manipulation, and time manipulation. The last one is basically too broken to be defeated

@@tempest4247 And so was Oma Zi-O. Heck, Oma Zi-O first appearance shows he basically the infinity gauntlet with all the stone in it. Heck let me list out the power he had correlating with each infinity stone: Space Manipulation: He has fourze cosmic ability to open warp hole, Opening blackhole like Evolt, hopping through reflective dimension like Ryuki rider and he can dimension hop like Decade Reality Manipulation: He can turn the real world into a video game world like Ex-Aid, controlling the power item like Para-Dx, and can create a new universe base on how he sees fit like Kuruto. He has access to magic from Blade, Hibiki, W, and Wizard. He can transform everything he touches into a weapon from Kuuga. He also can steal weapons like Gold Drive. And also he can make all Kamen Rider cannon even Fannon Ultimate Power: He has the power punch of Ultimate Kuuga, The merciless intent of all the berserker form while having full control of himself. Mind Manipulation: Sougo in the prime timeline was seen to know how to get into other people's heads if he tries and he can summon other riders from their timeline and they seem to do his work for him without question. Also, he has access to the monster that the rider fight like having access to mirror monster, and kiva bats, and Inves Time manipulation: He had Chronos Pause, Ex-Aid immunity to time stop, he can slow down time like drive, and he can travel back in time like Hyper Kabuto and he can move as fast as a zect rider. He himself can stop, rewind, speed up, look foward, look backward in time so good luck trying to sneak up on him Soul Stone: He has access to the 100 historic spirit eyecons so he can fight like Musashi or Kojiro, Snipe like Robin Hood, etc. Also, did I told you that all the riders he summon do his bidding without questioning? All I'm saying is if Drakkon wants to kill Oma-Zio, he has a better shot killing him when he was a child because that was the only time I think he has 100% sure he can kill Sougo.
