The Brand Nubian member was asked about Chet Haze, homosexuality in pop culture and his own sexual experiences, and not being one to bite his tongue, Lord Jamar hit us with another history lesson followed by nonstop hilarity.
"Black people are the producers and the seed planters of all cultures on the planet Earth," explains the rapper/actor. "So all cultures are accustomed to taking from the Black man's vernacular, science and way of life and adapting it to themselves...that's why a lot of s*** we do can be related to by everybody." Lord Jamar was asked about aspiring rapper Chet Haze feeling it is okay to use the term "n****," and though he feels Chet saying "n**** or not [is] not gonna make his s*** any better," he doesn't think Black people have to stop using it. "Let's just say we all stop saying n**** today. Is that going to stop poverty or crime?" he asked before diving into where the word is derived from.
After speaking on cultural appropriation, the interview takes a turn when Lord Jamar offers his view on the television series "Empire." He states that he doesn't watch the hit show because of the "the blatant f****** gay s*** that they're trying to promote on there," which he feels is society's way of getting Black people to support the LGBT community. "If they get us on board, and make it seem like we cosign it, everybody else is going to follow suit," he believes.
The clip gets even more interesting towards the end, as Lord Jamar details one of his numerous romps with two women at the same time. Though "it ended well," he says at one point it felt more like a competition than a fantasy come true. "It was a little weird, like, 'are you trying to battle me for my broad right now?" he recalls.

Johnson Taylor I don't think so man. I'm trying to be open-minded and I really think he's the type of interviewer who wants to get all sides and not just the one person. On the flip side if he never interviewed Jamar, then people would be jumping out the box saying "Vlad's a racist and doesn't want to interview a real nigga". IMO he's helping open another media route that other companies have never and probably never will interview. If you want to cover something in life, you have to cover all routes and not just one. Some white people get stuff (jobs, loans, "get-out-of-jail-free-cards", etc) just b/c they're white. Not only are the Mesopotamian's ( Asians (Middle Eastern Asians)) the earliest known founders of agriculture and civilisation which indicates that jamar has an approximate knowledge about early civilisation. Even if the Nubians and the Egyptians were the same culture (which they weren't but they were intrinsically linked) then they are the seed planters of the work force that has allowed these (any) civilisation to have the economy to allow a culture to flourish. Exploited labour i.e slavery. The Egyptians, the Nubians, the Persians, Greeks, Romans, Indians, Chinese, colonial Europe, America all used slaves or some form of exploited labour to fund their civilisations growth. I'm glad that jamar speaks out on social issues, but he cherry picks the info relevant to make light of his 5% worldview. I'm still a fan of him excercising his right to free speech because he always has an interesting and informed point of view. I'm just getting tired of the way he trashed other cultures, yes the Egyptians and the Nubians gave us so much science, math and cultural advances which built upon the Mesopotamian's, but you can't deny what the Greeks, Romans, Chinese, Indians Europeans, did to innovate and build upon our understanding of science and cultural thought today. We wouldn't have the technology we are using today just as much because of the Egyptians as the Chinese and rennasiance Europeans. lol mesopotamians were the first civilisation, look it up. nubians weren't egyptians, they both heavily influenced each other, were trading partners, had royal links, weren't the same culture though. I'm not a republican, I'm from new zealand, i just have a pet hate for historical inaccuracies. Humans have got to the technological, political and cultural stage we are at today through appropriating other cultures, borrowing and what not. egypt at the time of the pyramids were enslaving more of the human population than white men did. The truth is we are better off now for them doing that. The fact that you are on some sort of computer (computers first created by europeans) on the internet (created by europeans) and most likely living in a democracy (a political system with its origins in europe) and exercising your right of free speech (a european political right) really just contradicts everything you said about europeans doing nothing but steal. We have technologically gained as much from china, europe the middle east, india, as we have from egypt. Afrocentrisim is drawing on a lot of important history but its just as stupid as eurocentrism
