Ive read this book and- Oh my goodness- This is a BEAUTIFUL representation of the story and it's absolute brutality and horror within- Absolutely gorgeous!

Why is every character I've been introduced to named Simon either pure evil or a corrupted good soul? Like, Simon from this book, Simon Petrikov, Simon Fairchild and Simon last-name-intentionally-unknown from Infinity Train? Like at this point there's a binary. If a character is named Simon I now expect them to either be a victim of those who did get corrupted or intentionally corrupt themselves.

OH MY GODDDDD THIS GAVE ME CHILLS!! you captured all of the horror from the book, how rapid their decline was, simon's death was so beautifully shown and THE PARACHUTE GUY TURNING INTO A SERPENT WAS IN INCREDIBLE TOUCH OMG this is AWESOME!!

I was forced to read this book a few years ago freshman year. At the time, I thought the book was boring and didn’t have an interest in it because I was being forced to read 1-2 chapters a day. After seeing this, I definitely want to reread it and experience it in a different light!!!

My country made a show called “High council” which is a school related drama involving bullying and dark stuff abt schools. One of the teachers referenced humanity with the characters of Lord Of The Flies. And that also has something to do with the students.
