Are you able to do a guide on how crossplay works for this? I wanted to play with my friend who has the game on PC, and my copy is on PS5. There doesn't seem to be a way to connect, at least not one I can see

I got to the krat area after the "earthquake" but got lost and decided to take a break as lives of p has been little to no challenge and seen this vide and remembered i have had this on disc for years and still havent played it

Jesus. I had so many issues with my starting weapon. I had to try so many things to get past the first area with any heals left. The spear being single target really threw me off. I thought it was bc I was under leveled, because two handing it didn’t do much better? Shouldn’t two handing do more damage?! Doesn’t it in Fromsoftware games? But I put a crap weapon in other hand and dual wielding made me attack faster and more AOE. Then it was easier.

@@cloverraven I got on ok with my weapon but it is personal playstyle and preference i suppose. Some do work better with different stats too same as the souls games in terms of scaling

Beat lies of p last week and have been playing lotf since then and they both have their own small problems but in the end they're awesome and I love them both equally at the moment..a lot of people just like to complain or "pick sides" instead of just playing the cool game..id give both games easily 9/10

You don’t need to get too yoked, the first boss is meant to teach you proper mechanics(a skill check) you should work to pass the skill check not to do so much dps that she’s a cake walk. Plus smart choice boulders is a bore and a half

he better be dropping some builds soon because they help me know what weapons i need to use before the main one for the build. i heard that the game only gives you enough upgrade materials for just a few weapons.

Pvp isnt really viable until they change alot of things. Right now it runs off host connection so invaders deal with massive rubberbanding issues, the combat between players has no tuning, etc.

Yeah, it's possible, but it's definitely taking the hard road. Starting out with either of the casters is gonna make your 1st 4-5 hours harder than it needs to be. If you want to go that route, there's additional starting options after finishing the game once, that are more optimized for casting. See the wiki if interested. What you could do though, is take the Mournstead class, favor hp early (and a little bit of endurance if you feel like you need the stamina), then go to agility, and THEN go to casting. It'll make your life way easier, and by that point, you'll actually have a solid spell selection. As stated in the video, scaling isn't great in LotF, at least not till later in the game, so survivability comes 1st, then build the agility when you're comfortable (to start getting ready to beef up your melee), find a weapon you like and upgrade it, and then you can build your inferno. You're definitely better off in this game, as a hybrid caster/melee, than pure casting; and yes, it's a viable build, but you won't really have it even partially online until at least the mid game. If you're skilled, and you're ok with being un-optimized for the 1st 1/3 of the game, then it's definitely doable, and will be 🔥 later on. Good luck crusader!

Yes you can.

To swap between 1 and 2 handing a weapon press Y on Xbox controller or triangle on PS controller. This will also enable you to dual wield weapons or carry a shield. Not sure for keyboard. I don’t have an answer for the other questions unfortunately.

You need to activate the named vestiges

1st softcap is 50, then 75. Not really worth going past that. There are some weapons that have high scaling, (I think I've seen A, not sure about S), but to put in perspective: many weapons have D, going up to C typically. With, let's say C-C (str/agi. As an example. It's actually often worse than that.) You'll be getting roughly 3 points of damage per point in the main stat, and 2-3 per point in the other. And that's a Good scaling weapon for 1/2 the game. Come endgame, with an A scaling weapon, and 75 points of the stat, I'm sure you'll be doing beefy damage, but you'll definitely notice it's not as high as something like ER. It's a little bit less than in Lies of P, if that reference helps, I'm only about 1/2 way right now, maybe less; so I can't say for sure; but from what I've seen from streamers and content creators, your damage stat doesn't really feel all that important until the build/weapon is finally fully online. However, the upgrades for weapons are nice. That's all I'll say. There's a damage calculator up somewhere, you can compare it there. Good luck.

Why not use mouse heel to switch targets? Insane. I'll change it but the defaults are some of the worst default controls
