Or maybe Imperials, abandon the quest on which they were sent by the people who now indirectly enslave them and risk being destroyed? Which side should give up? You can't have it both ways.

It works out well for everyone. The Stormcloaks are canonically losing so they need the room to breathe. The Empire can hold what it has but it wasn't really gaining any ground so for them it is less wasted resources for no gain.

Some time ago a dude implemented a mod where you could have a conversation with every character by typing in messages, and they would use Chatgpt to create responses. Inworld AI I think it was called. Pretty cool idea, and helped a lot with immersion, if you ask me.

Skyrim reputation, Enemies surrender, Immersive Speechcraft, Ordinator (Makes people run from you in battle just from the look of you with heavy armor perk), conquest of skyrim (lets you become high king of skyrim, people will take your orders and fear/respect you, put jarls in their place and replace them with ones who respect you.)

A headcanon I have for the Dragonborn is, they are mute, we never actually hear them say anything, so I think they sign, and Thuum clearly uses something OTHER THAN just your voice because otherwise everyone could do it. Which is what the cooldown is for. Your resting yourself after each use of Thuum because it hurts. Now, all that is to explain why people ignore, or talk over the Dragonborn. Because they have no voice to scream. (Yes they would communicate using some type of sign language and before anyone come at me over how it's not "realistic" for everyone to know or at least understand sign language, this is a world where you can mess around with gods, throw fireballs from your hands, and essentially, eat the souls of Dragons. Stfu. People knowing Sign is the MOST realistic thing there.)

I always side with Stormcloacks because I know that Dragonborn is gonna pull that Tiber Septim on him. You know. Win Ulfric the war and than (off the screen) challange him to a duel over the high crown of skyrim (which i recovered myself) and do him like he did that Elisif husband. Shout him to death with more than 1 word of Unrelenting Force, way more. Proclaim myself the high king with support of ALL them yarls and than, as last dragonborn march into cyrodill, straight to the imperial city for my goddamn throne. And that's how tes 6 begins. In bangkorai pass with news of the new, nord emperor claiming the crown. Yes. Canon dragonborn is a Nord Male.

My biggest frustration with Skyrim was that quest. I cannot believe that you couldn't just look at them and tell them Whiterun was under your protection and if anyone made a move against it than they would die by your hand. You're a mythical hero. Killing dragons and eating their souls is a minor inconvenience on the way to the blacksmith and your literally the only guy who can stop the end of the world. It was so dumb. I usually use a mod to skip that quest and just pretend my character sent everyone a letter that basically says, "F around and I promise you you will find out," and everyone agreed to just let you do your thing for a bit.

The Last Dragonborn is tough in but in lore they're nothing compared to truly mighty Dragonborn like Wulfharth and Talos. They aren't going to solo entire armies on their own.

This was my only gripe with Skyrim. You are the Dragonborn, destined to save the world, you can become the Archmage of Winterhold, the leader of both the Assassins Guild (what’s left of it), and the Thieves Guild, and the thane of many regions and yet people will just treat you like some bum. Like a thief shouldn’t try to mug me while I’m decked out in daedric armor.

They deffo need to put more "if A true don't say/do x,y,z" for their AI and cut down on annoying shit like guards always talking about one thing only, constant dragon attacks, or noone ever acting accordingly to your rank/fame to polish that already good immersion it provides in this sandbox and they should hire a writer to make actual meaningful choices, coz Skyrim is great murderhobo sandbox and wild ride on which you can only ever nod "yes to all", but if I ever want to roleplay I rather fire up morrowind again.

Hilariously, I just started playing the main quest for the first time in a while and just realized that (depending on the dialogue options) Arngeir _warns you_ that this will happen. Specifically he says, "...heed my warning - the Blades may say they serve the Dragonborn, but they do not. They never have." And he says this right after apologizing for getting short with you. _That's_ why I like Partysnaxx and the Greybeards; they're the _only_ ones who give you the deference you deserve.

I always felt that Skyrim should have had some sort of Reputation system in it, as that would go a long way when characterizing what it’s like to be a living legend, with the blood of the Chief of the Gods and father of dragons. If you held this negotiation with a big reputation, you could make everyone listen to you by simply being the most powerful person in the nation

I usually side with the imperials and win the war before doing main quest. I also know it’s an old game but the way people treat you when you’re a mythical being, sometimes an immortal vampire lord who is also Dragonborn makes no sense. Even after completing certain major quests you go to the companions and they’re like “sharpen my sword bitch” as if I didn’t just kill Alduin in sovngarde.

I always wanted to just stand up and use the thu'um to shake the room a little as I lecture them all about the current circumstances. No trades will be made. No battles will happen until Alduin is dead. And for good measure, toss the Thalmor dossier on Ulfric to the man himself for a little "enlightening reading material." After all, the Dragonborn could shout Castle Dour and/or the Palace of Kings to the ground at the slightest provocation if they wished, so they WILL concede to their will or they will perish.
