They're not body shaming them. You have a fat character in a story (fat is not bad. It's just a description like thick or chubby) and you'll want an actor/actress that is more to that form. Shorter, thicker, curvy, innocent looking. The actress they got is very thin and not as cherubic as the cartoon (yes I realize it is a cartoon- but just like real life you can tell if a cartoon is tall and thin or short and stocky). They should've gotten a thicker actress.
