my heart breaks how Charles pleaded with the police that he was concerned for his life and the kids over all the crazy things his wife was saying and doing and now those three are also dead and the police did not investigate or file any charges against Alex. That made me so sad.

Neglecting that possibly Ryan was also a victim, when Lori sabotaged Charles coming home from his trip is the point that a competent police process could have gotten the kids safe, Lori firmly on the radar as a nut, prevented likely all the (4? 5?) murders after. They let this woman waltz into their station & pretend to be rational, not check out her allegations, not examine her on her crazy beliefs, not put her under observation. The other disconnect was that all the supposedly non-crazy people in the Cox family (besides Alan Cox & son), most importantly Charles' step children cut him off without the slightest attempt to understand his concerns.

In General, the police are much too busy doing nothing, & they are unskilled, to investigate extremely dangerous threats. In general they’d MUCH rather wait until after the crime has been committed to act, if they do that. Complacency, apathy, don’t give a sh** about it attitudes prevail, that is one reason why crime is so high in my area.
@MartineH1

I was thinking WHY. The police got Charles complaining about her threats. They speak to her shortly after his killing and she acts as nothing happened. How come they do nothing? She was attractive and very sexualised. The many men was willing to marry her speaks volumes. It maybe was what happened there. If she was ugly, poor, simple, living in a slum, they would had investigate.

I’m so torn on that. Yes he IS a victim, but man he loves putting his victimhood on display! Now juxtapose that to Alec Murdaugh’s victims, such as Maggie’s sister- she doesn’t put her mourning on display every chance she gets. To be fair, it’s not possible for Colby to not be a little narcissistic. He was raised by one. He also ignored Charles calls for help and disowned him because he automatically believed his mom and refused to look at Charles emails explaining the truth.
@eh1702
@eh1702 Жыл бұрын
@@kateashby3066 Colby was possibly responding to judgmentalism from the general public. When people realised that brother Alex and niece Melani were involved, they reasonably may have assumed Colby was, too. He had moved out to live with Adam, I think it was, at age 16-17: and Lori moved home several times in several months during 2018-20. We know now from his own lips in that phone call, thatLori carefully kept all word of these cult beliefs from him.

Your analysis is nearly identical to mine. I have been following this case since the children went missing. I really enjoy your calm narrative and careful identification of the key details. Your use of humor is also appreciated (“He must have caught that cough that was going around”). I am still puzzling over the apparently sudden change in Lori’s behavior, trying to find an explanation for it. Then I remember all of the evidence that supports the clear planning aspects, as well as the attempts to hide certain key facts from the police. People were dropping like flies around Lori & Chad. These deaths were easily predicted by Chad’s “Light and Dark list” by informing who would be called zombies and then succumb to the sudden loss of their lives (This zombie list is also viewed as a “hit list” in some circles). You are the best and most informed mind out there, Dr. Grande. Please keep up the reports and analyses on this case.

Alex's autopsy determined he died of a heart attack as well. I find it suspicious that two otherwise healthy, unrelated men under 50 with no previous heart issues just happened to have heart attacks. I wouldn't be suprised if Tammy had a heart attack as well.
@WhiteNoiseOpEdCommentary
@WhiteNoiseOpEdCommentary 4 жыл бұрын
I think they used malachite to kill Tammy and Joe Ryan. Then Alex took some to kill himself. See channel. Lori & Chad made a “healing balm” with malachite so they have access to pure form powder malachite which when ingested will kill you you’ll have pink foam in mouth and cause of death will look like a heart problem and/or blood clot on lung. Nothing makes it to stomach.

Anna Hale - I’m quite sure she was behind this. She wanted the Social Security funds Tylee would collect. After Tylee had been gone for over 3 months, Lori was using Tylee’s bank card to get the funds. Tylie & JJ became “zombies”, whose souls could only be saved by killing them, because Chad didn’t want Lori’s kids around interfering with his new sex life. Although the details may be weirder than usual, this is another all too common case of a POS boyfriend wanting to get rid of his girlfriend’s kids. Several of these people could still be alive if just one cop in any of these towns or cases had stepped up & done their darn job. I get so sick of seeing cases like this where cops just didn’t even try to do their job & may others die because of it.

I’m not entirely convinced Chad Daybell believed the crap he was peddling. I think he, like many other con-men, saw religious people as easy marks and a way to make money selling them books, etc. Lori may indeed be delusional, but I agree with you....they sure were planning for a future together for a couple that supposedly believed that they were going to beamed up in July.

The power of the poontang is more than some can handle and Lori's must have had super powers. Chad just wanted her in bed and probably couldn't believe how obsessed she was with him. He thought he hit the pontang lottery until the crazy (or the more crazy in Lori's case) came out. I believe she manipulated him and he went along with it and eventually came to accept it as consistent with his writings. He literally created his own monster (Lori).

Pretty slick on the editing on this one, Dr. Grande! Alex died of a pulmonary embolism, his autopsy came back clean. Now, I mean, I learned how to theoretically cause a PE in pre-med, that doesn't 100% clear the idea of murder off the table for him, but they would have to find needle marks somewhere, and he had been sick for days. I just can't fathom that he actually died that randomly around these people. Nothing normal kind of weird happens around Lori and Chad.

Yeah, even though Joseph Ryan and Alex Cox apparently died of natural causes (autopsies showed myocardial infarction in JR and pulmonary embolism in AC) they passed away a little too conveniently for the Daybells. I think it is a good idea the prosecutors had by continuing to investigate. Causing someone to die from these causes is pretty hard however and I wonder where this expertise could have come from. They were not very careful with the deaths they most probably caused (Tammy, Charles and the children) and only got away so far because authorities were quite neglectful

"What could go wrong?", "Nothing says true love like declaring one's self a deity and threatening homicide" and "It's hard to be a deity on a budget". Wonderful choice of phrases. Love this. I think that you can continue to allow a bit of humor in the descriptions of what was past. Once you start the "viewing the behavior" part, you really get down to business. Do you think that the possibility of a "Jim Jones or David Koresh" thought process may be at work here? With the idea of at least Lori being a deity seems to fit. I could be wrong. Hey, thank you for this channel. My husband and I love to watch each one of these. Allowing yourself a bit of humor, as you do, is really needed with this. The absurd needs to be seen as absurd. Yes, good observation! I've stated from the beginning that their delusions, narcissism & greed made for 'very sloppy' moves (ie; timelines, overt verbal death predictions & etc..) This sloppiness is what I held hope would be the very thing to catch-up w/ them in the end if nothing else could. (side note;) IMO, I think it wise that LE on every level has held their cards close to the vest. I'm sure now more than ever they must continue to withhold vital evidence/info. not only to build an iron clad case but also in light of the local residents as well as the global community's growing reactions which could, understandably so, get ugly. I only wish that the local LE who initially responded to Alex's blatant shooting of Charles would have been handled far better...

I like to think all the stress and long haul driving to different attempted murder scenes killed alex. If he did have blood clots that would do it. Good job alex, you played yourself!

And the rings were purchased in Charles name and with his card... definitely premeditated I'd say... they are not mental they are insanely evil! Hopefully they get the death penalty!

I read somewhere that Tammy's coroner was not a real doctor coroner, but an EMT.

I didn’t know they found them :( I think it was inevitable at this point, no one was expecting to find them alive :(
