Could everyone stop comparing Judy and her daughters! They are individually fantastic performers. I know Judy Garland is smiling down at both Lorna and Liza! She's a very proud mother!

Lorna is magnificent and Sammy & Mama would be blown away with this incredibly great performance...Bravo Lorna, you are one of the all-time greatest!

Lorna is a great live performer. She came to Wolverhampton in concert, she was fantastic. I've seen many stars perform and she is right up there with the best of them. She has a great voice, classy beyond belief and a really likeable stage presence. I love her to bits

I love how both Liza and Lorna perform just like their mother, Judy Garland. It's almost as if they do the hand movements that Judy did when performing to be powerful and leave the viewer with a sense of wonder and respect to the both of them (sorry, if that sounds confusing).

I think it would be difficult to grow up as Liza being compared in everything you do to your mother. Then Imagine being Lorna and being compared to not only your mother but your big sister as well! And have the guts to still go out there and sing. I have to give it to them! They are both very talented women!

Lorna is dynamic! I never knew of her talent in 1969. It was KZfaq that opened up knowledge that was difficult to learn before the internet.

Each time I hear to one of my favorite songs and performed by the unique Lorna, I cry. Because if you are not sure to be yourself, you just gotta listen to this. Pure magic, pure music... pure Art.

Liz would be so proud of her girls. Who knew Lorna had such a fantastic voice (just like her big sister) & a soprano & alto voice at that!

I was at this concert and it was fabulous! Not only did Liza and Lorna perform but it had a host of stars like Charles Aznavour, Tom Jones, Jerry Lewis, Donald O'Connor. Great memories

I didn't realize she was so close to Sammy Davis Jr., but man, with that voice, there ain't no doubt she's Judy Garland's daughter! "Wow!"

I met her when was appearing Ft. Lauderdale doing her "Songs My Mother Taught Me" we chatted backstage for about 15 min. When I brought up the subject of Judy she cringed so I quickly changed the subject to her kids that took the tension out of her reaction. She has/had a very good voice but she's one tough lady!

Judy was the face and THE voice. Liza is an entertainer; not the face, not the voice of her mom, but so darned entertaining, and she is my favorite. Lorna ... she got overlooked.

what a singer! what a voice! I think she has a contralto voice but you can see where she got it from! as Judy garland was brilliant. Where has all the talent gone/ i mean that is showbiz as i remember growing up and seeing these kind of shows on TV but today it just isnt the same any more

I think Lorna has the better technical voice.. which is awesome, don't get me wrong, but doesn't have quite the "wow" or "star" factor of Judy or Liza. It's not something you can gain by study or anything. I think it is incredible that Judy's talent got passed down to both daughters in some way or another.

Oh no I don't mean Liza and Judy didn't had powerful voices! I just believe that Lorna's voice is "bigger" and Liza's voice has more an edge - And I love that! I sincerely hope you know i am not slamming Liza down, I love Liza, it's just what I feel :)

Lorna has a nice voice and sang this song with power and passion. Lorna lacked stage presence, though. I wonder how Judy, Liza and Lorna sounded if they sang together. If Judy lived long enough ... It's telling though that Lorna spoke a lot like Liza. The intonation, the accent, a kind of thestricality about it. They grew up together: maybe they got that from their mother.

Lorna was damn good, but hit a glass ceiling somehow. Eventually, she gave up and became a Judy imitator and Judy historian.

I think that Lorna has a more powerful and "bigger" so to speak voice, than Liza has.. But Liza stands out more, she is more unique than Lorna is and I think that's why Liza is a bigger star than Lorna is but I also think that Lorna deserves more attention and credit for her voice! And for Judy, she is not a part of this! - she is in a category for herself!!!

I think that Lorna would have been more successful if she was not Judy Garland's daughter & Liza's half sister; she always had that shadow of comparison blighting her career. She had the talent of her own.

I agree. I like Lorna. She seems like a nice person, but her voice is thinner than either Judy or Liza. Judy and Liza are in a class of their own in terms of robust belting power without sounding shrill. (Not that Lorna sounds shrill, but a lot of less talented Broadway belters do sound shrill rather than robust.) Anyway, thanks for posting. I had not heard this.

Why isn't this available on dvd? I think she didn't make it big like Liza because of her career choices. She started out trying to sing rock music. Her voice is more suited for Broadway. Had she stayed on Broadway for a while she could have had a more successful career.

Lorna Luft is attractive and has a Sensational singing voice far better than Liza Minnelli so it's hard to figure out why Liza Minnelli became such a big star
