I love, how much the girls loved their mom, how they wouldnt let anyone talk bad about her, I love that, even with her issues Judy had a great heart as evident by her childrens love.

Judy was never tragic, she was vibrant and generous, and funny. The way people used and abused her from her childhood until her untimely death is horrifically tragic. She deserved so much more, when she gave so much of herself to everyone.

Millions of people stand up for Judy everyday. I do for one. I defend her about her drug problem. She didn't get herself addicted. The studio did. Get her in front of that camera. I don't care how you do it, just do it. Give her the pills, that will give her some extra energy. Just get her on the set and in front of the camera. Judy never had a chance.

Happily (because how WONDERFUL)... I find Judy's, Liza's, and Lorna's voices similar. When you hear snippets of songs in between the segments of this documentary, I wish they would note in the corner which talented lady IS singing that recording.

Judy Garland gave the public what they wanted to hear. No matter what Judy did, they all wanted to see her as a tragic figure. Judy did have a rough life some of the time & I'm sure just being a legend was a tough life for such a sensitive and tiny woman. Judy really wasn't always unhappy 24/7 like the media wants us to believe. Judy just gave the public what they wanted & she was really a very classy lady & down to earth & accessible to her fans back then. Judy gave us many hrs of pure joy.

Judy was my mother's favourite singer and actress. I put a copy of one of her cd's in with her, when she passed. I truly admire her two daughters, they are intelligent, strong and loving. My mother was an alcholic too and it ran in the family. It was difficult growing up with it, and finally she quit drinking, after blacking out. I miss her and hope she is doing well on the other side.

Everyone ripped her off. Sid Luft, her managers, accounts, and husbands. Judy is one of the most beloved, or THE MOST BELOVED ENTERTAINER THAT EVER LIVED. She's Dorothy from Kansas, or Esther from St.Louis, or Baby Frances from Grand Rapids, Minn. She earned a lot of money in her lifetime only to get ripped off by just about everyone she came in contact with.

I’m sure she was taken advantage of in many ways. Money is the root of all evil. But, I’m sure Judy spent a lot of her own money as well. A person has to assume responsibility for themselves. When you’re a celebrity, it’s like you can do no wrong, and they’re just as human as anyone else.

Very true! But she had spent money on things that she couldn't afford, and many, many people took advantage of her which would drain out her money. Even when she WAS getting a profit from concerts and TV shows, etc., companies she owed took the money to pay for what she owed.

Lorna is not a nutcase. And I wouldn't say she has had chaotic relationships. And she has been free from drugs and drink for over 20 years. She is also fairing well enough in theatre work in the UK. Why do you let them bother you so much? Maybe deciding someone is a nutcase from interviews is a dangerous theory?

Absolutely beautiful we all love our family period good, bad & ugly family is all we have loosing my baby brother Russell this pass October 2019 broke my wings all my worlds colorful beauty has gone brain cancer, he lived in Connecticut with his family and I here in our home town Gloucester Massachusetts although miles between us we talked on phone Isee him and his wife & children every summer however, he had always been here he existed amongst the living so all the time separated at the time didn't matter I knew he was here now that he has passed Iwished I spent more time that knowing that he's not here haunts me! I miss him so and I write this to let these beautiful sisters know although they to live apart and see each other when they can they should stop and see one another more because when you loose a sibling its unbearable nothing like loosing cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, parents, siblings are your Nick to your Knack ... No, I'll continue to comment on what I see As for the CONSTANT interviews where L&L say exactly the same things over and over - most of it dubious (and in Liza's case delusional) - no-one puts a gun to their heads and makes them do interviews They have made a career out of Judy and I don't think it does her memory any good at all Their insights about Garland are limited because they are both obviously very damaged by their childhood

Judy Garland was clearly taken advantage of by these “big” executives. They took took from her and “ they” became wealthy on her talent and skill. Reminds me of Areosmith but times a 1000. Bless these sisters they have each other. And everytime somewhere over the rainbow is sang these dolls getting the royalties if any. I bet they aren’t. Snakey hollywood moguls. That is why people have gone outside of hollywood to make movies. For example, the Sopranos. Some of the best sequels are from somewhere else. People are doing their own thing these days.

I look at the Garland clips and the Liza stuff comes up on the side under 'Related Videos' I know its repetitive but the comments about Liza Minnelli being a "great singer" are too much But more seriously I think these 2 are an embarrassment to Judy Garland's memory On top of that they have such a self-deluded version of events but seem to think because they are her daughters they are the last authority on Garland's career which doesnt follow at all Also she died 40 years ago MOVE ON
