This area is horrendous. The first 2min of the alley crawl is just next to the street from a project I worked on (Westlake). We would walk in a group of 5 or 6 of us at 5am. I’ve worked in Compton, watts, blah blah blah. This McArthur park area was the worst. Its like international waters out there while it’s dark.

"Oh this other place? It's the most peaceful place around. That's why I made it 100k dollars so it's harder for you to live in nice places!" We just want you to be homeless that's fine!"

as a Michigander Detroit is on a HUGE come up in recent years. When I was a kid going to red wings and lions games I remember it was so dark and trashy all the time. Now the streets are clean people smile as they walk by you and the overall vibes are good! I am so happy for the people of Detroit!
