I was born in this town and I always feel at home whenever I visit family there. Gets very hot in summers and extremely cold in the winters. Small town but a very calm town and nice people.

Los Baños has grown massively over time. Many people have been moving there from the bay area as well as Southern California as industrial facilities have moved to the Central Valley. Believe it or not many people commute from Los Baños all the way to San Jose area.

The town's Spanish name Los Baños means "the baths"; it is named after a spring that feeds natural wetlands in the western San Joaquín Valley.

It's weird seeing other people visiting my town and driving around. It's very quiet here, and the air is way better than LA that's for sure.

I’m from Los Banos as well, and it is funny seeing ppl driving in Los Banos. And what’s strange is that I felt defensive watching this, hearing ppl slagging off Los Banos. Sure, the things that they were saying about LB were things I was saying when I was a kid, but now it irritated me to hear these ppl talking shit.

You should head north into the Pacific Northwest !! The scenery will be the best you have ever seen. Mount Rainier etc

I live there and it is translated to the baths it was name before bath rooms and is named after the mercy hot springs that the Spanish missionarys would swim in

The San Joaquin Valley is full of Cities and towns that are sort of like majority Hispanic (but also a lot of working class Anglos) versions of Oklahoma, with conservative politics and Southern hospitality, but also um... Well you get the picture!

If you’re on this side, visit Stockton! It’s known area for crime and gangs. Sacramento is a the next “city”, and it’s much less boring.

It has a great donut shop called Donut Nation. Besides that I don't know a whole lot to recommend it

Drugs, homeless, gangs, methlabs, mm bomb labs here, etc. so this video is cery misleading dont listen to this author he cant take info the correct way.
