Cesar is my hero! I’m a Canadian boy, who got to present Los Lobos at my blues festival in London Ontario in the early 2000’s. Cesar’s “hero”, Kim Simmons was also on the bill with his band, Savoy Brown. I arranged things so that Kim joined Los Lobos on stage for a part of their set. Cesar never forgot it! Years later, Los Lobos was opening for Neil Young in Toronto. I was able to hook up with Cesar backstage and he took me to meet Neil! What a memory! I still have the Los Lobos tour T-shirt he gave me that night! I’m 66 yrs old, and still a huge fan-boy! Cheers, Cesar!
