Definitely my sleep is my achilles hill. Even if it is scheduled there seems to be something else that needs to be done, and before you know it, sleep comes last. Big mistake I know.

Sleep is always been my issue. My body used to be ok with 4-5 hours of sleep every night. Now as I get older, its 5-6. But I know I need more than that. My body is so used to this little sleep, if I go to bed early, I just wake early.

I definitely need more sleep. I’m a mom of 3 young ones. Lack of sleep is probably hindering my fat loss.

nutrition consistency and sleep! Working third shift, it can be hard to sleep soundly every night but I try for 7 hours in bed each day

Sleep is my enemy. Going thru menopause has completely messed up my sleep. That's my biggest issue.

All well and good advice, but yet no meal plans, I can eat low carb diet all day long and still fell hungry. Always had the issue of hunger not going away (unless i eat stupid like a xmas dinner or so) then i crash and want to sleep. A good meal plan is what you need to explain its easy to say throw this crap and this crap away, but then that leaves them with an empty plate and no idea how to fill it.

Are you saying if I weight 200 lbs I should eat 200 grams of protein everyday? Or work up to 200 grams of protein as I increase my exercises? What is the best way to get the protein I would need? Protein powder or lean meats?

I’m really wanting to know more about carbs. I understand that carbs from pasta are different from vegetables. How do I make sure I’m getting high quality carbs and don’t sabotage my nutrition and weight loss goals?

Thank you, great tips. I am just thinking how the heck I am going to drink all that water and eat all that protein? That is a lot to take on and I do work 8 hours a day. I’ll be in the kitchen or the bathroom for 4 of these hours 😂. But I get it… I was an athlete in my 20’s.

I am eating a lot more veggies and fruits. When I eat dinner, I have a small scoop of brown rice. And sometimes for lunch, I have a grilled cheese with a grilled chicken. Walking about 8k - 10k steps a day. Been doing it for 3-4wks now. I feel like I might have lost a few pounds. I have not checked a scale, but visually I do not see a difference. I wanted to go to the gym after I lose some pounds. Any suggestions?

Water drinking. A lot of people have said drink water to feel fuller but with me it seems to work the other way around. When I drink more water it makes me have full on rumbling stomach hunger and I go into Hulk smash mode - this is not the superhero I was intending to emulate! 🤣 Am I doing something wrong or will my body adjust to it if I can push through being hangry all the time?

You suggest "1 gram of protein per pound". Is that based on CURRENT weight or GOAL weight (eg 235 vs 195)? Not a huge difference for me, but could be significant if trying to lose more. Thx!

I think you need to understand where your TDEE needs to be. There only 3 areas you can raise so feel the 1g per lb is a constant. Than you can manipulate carbs and fats

Do you think 1g per lb protein is good if you're not in a muscle building phase? I was more aggressive but have decided to slow down my progress because I find it more sustainable to be be slow and consistent rather than going all out.

wait so if i weigh 143 pounds(im a fat teen) i should take in 140 g protein and 2 liters of water. Theres 1 g protein per 10 cals. so i should 1400 calories and 140 protein?
