Hey Guys,
Thank you for clicking on over to my channel and for watching this video.
This is something my brother and I have thought about doing for a while, but was never sure if we really could - I'm glad this video is now out for you all to watch in the hopes it sheds a bit of light and supports those who may be experiencing something similar.
I have never been more proud of my family and my brother as this last year has changed us all, but we have come so far and we are still going.
I love you all for your support.
Thank you
lost of love
Tasha

I've just stumbled across this (looking for hair tips) but can I just say Thank You! I too lost my dad just over 3 years ago. Everything you said could have come from my own mouth. I hope you are finding happiness again Tasha.

I am so sorry! Both of you sound like very strong people!!! No question, this video and your raw emotions are definitely going to help people. This video should be shown in grief counseling!! Thank you for your strength . 👃🏽😇 prayers and blessings are being sent to all three of you! ( sorry, 4 of you) I forgot about Nan for just a quick second

❤️ Yes, you don't ever "get over" losing someone you've loved. You just re-mould your life around the chasm, and keep living, because life is for living. And it's so brief. I miss my father so much - 3 years - but you go on, and keep living and loving and finding joy where you do. Grief is universal. Life is good!

The flashback is the tense stomach and your throat feeling tight and tears 😭 I understand I’m so so sorry parents are more valuable than we can ever realise. This video made me cry. And your absolutely right we keep going and it is so hard. My kids were my inspiration to keep going. Every time I would see a mom and daughter holding hands when I would drive by I would go home and hold my daughter and cry. It is so hard. It gets easier with time but the feeling of homesick you feel when you think of your parents that are in the great beyond will always be there.

I lost my dad on Nov 3, 2017. I still feel the pain to this day. I will say that you will never completely get over the pain, but you'll eventually learn to cope with it. When he died I was in shocked, I couldn't cry at first. Because even though he was laying in the casket it didn't register in my head. I was thinking nope he's going to wake up after this. But he never did. I don't know why I kept thinking he's going to come home or wake-up. When I got home, I live in another state. It hit me so hard out of nowhere. I cried so hard for the first time since he died. I went into a depression mode and one night I had a dream of him. He said to me Peaches I'm okay don't worry about me. He use to call me Peaches. So with that, it comfort me. And everything that reminded me of him I use to avoid but now I slowly can face it with a smile. I wish you both the best. Hugs to you.

SO sorry lovey. being a nursing student (now radiology) and a phlebotomy intern during this pandemic, I've seen the pain and struggle on everyone; families, friends, parents, nurses, doctors, etc. its so hard on everyone right now and especially when you lose a loved one. I lost my aunt who we were very close to in December and it was so hard. I still don't believe it. I still wanna invite her over for holidays or say hello to her and we cant. I understand, and I am so sorry.

Both of my parents are gone - I'm older than you guys. I lost my Mom in 2006 and my Dad in 2017. It's horrible. My Mom was in the hospital in a coma due to a stroke and due to her brain waves, I had to make the decision to "pull the plug." My Dad died at home within two weeks of a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. You're so lucky to have a sibling. xoxo
