Thank you! I just left the church and it has been really hard. My first instinct was to hide from my family because I didn’t want them to see that it was hard. Their reaction to me saying this has been really hard was basically obviously you are doing the wrong thing. I don’t feel ashamed of leaving the church but the social aspect of leaving is the loneliest thing I’ve ever had to go through. Ultimately it doesn’t matter what others think but I bothers me that people would think that I’m somehow different and less good because I have made this decision. No one even tries to see my perspective before they judge. Anyway thank you for your videos they are incredibly helpful and supportive to me at this time!

@@Onlyoneway. I know but there is often another side to that. In my experience, it's often the one leaving who changes their behavior and starts pushing others away through hostility, etc. It's a complex issue but looking inward is the only solution you have control over.
@Karli_searches_and_prays19 күн бұрын
@@loudogg73 people don’t “become hostile” just because they leave the church. It’s a defense mechanism when they are judged and mistreated by their loved ones. Members instantly talk to them and treat them as less than, deceived, and damned, they are often only satisfied if they return to the church. Staying in an environment like that and “only looking inward” (like remember, you are the problem here), is just encouraging reconforming to group think and denying your own intuition to “keep the peace.” If the relationship is so toxic and conditional on believing in the same theology, cutting it off is often the only solution.

Did you leave the gospel, or just the cultural church? (Sometimes people leave for a lot of reasons). Anyway I dont judge anyone, god bless :)

When separating from the church there is a lot of sadness and pain initially. There also typically is a lot of anger. Those that just "follow the prophet" are the good guys while people that question are the "bad guys". This is very frustrating.

I love this message! Thank you for sharing! I find it so sad that people who leave the Mormon church leave Jesus Christ altogether 😢 We need to support our friends and family in following God and coming to know Him. Testimonies like yours are so helpful and healing ❤❤❤

So beautiful! I love the addition of the music as well to this one. Thank you for shining light on this topic of unfair judgments that are often made when someone steps outside the norms of the culture. This judgment (or any) prevents loving others which is Christ's way of discerning who is a true follower of His.

Its true! (sometimes the "bubble" we have lived in has become more complicated")? Why? Not sure, perhaps broken by the (1) last days (good vs evil) (2) additional knowledge especially on the internet (both good, mostly bad). It definitely "tests" us more than ever! (I guess should we really expect anything less in our times - as it was foretold)? Its not easy I agree (many things are more "messy" now). Despite these things - I still don't see any other church (others than Christ church) that could teach the (A) Plan of Salvation (B) Pre-existence) (C) Temples and so much more. The teachings are true (not always the culture or sometimes people) That's why we need to make it an "individual" thing). Christ is king and a relationship with him is the most important. Its tough! I agree. However when I see this video it always makes me happy and brings some perspective to it all! Okay take care and god bless :) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bNRlqbdhyq7QeWw.html

Those things you listed are reasons why the LDS church is most definitely not true. Everything that the church teaches that you listed contradicts scripture.

@@president234 Which things "contradict" in your opinion (and why)? Remember the quote "By the fruits you shall know them".
@president23419 күн бұрын
@@nute742 Firstly the mormon church has no fruits. 200 years of constantly changing doctrine isnt very good fruit to me. But like you said the plant of salvation contradicts the bible with their 3 heavens, forever families, the fact that the LDS believe Adam and Eves sin was a good thing. Pre-existence where Jesus and Satan disputed over who would redeem mankind is ridiculous. LDS temples are unbiblical in a number of ways. Theres just so much wrong with the church
@nute74216 күн бұрын
The church has many fruits (temples, knowledge of the "nature of god") (B) the knowledge of the "pre-existence" (C) the nature of heaven (As Jesus and the apostle Paul stated) and clarity that Jesus visited many people on earth (and not just one) as god is no respecter of persons. The "Grand Council in heaven" where 1/3 of the hosts of heaven fell (in the bible too)! The christians came from the jews! (who had a temple) In fact most jews would be christian if they accepted Jesus! So again, its biblical (Jesus went there and talked about it). The biggest question is why would learning these things (if true) be bad? New knowledge and clarity from god should be "celebrated" ! (unless people want to stay in the dark and be confused?) Okay take care and god bless :) (in addition the church gives 1 billion + to poor people and countries every year!) Thats something good too!
@president23416 күн бұрын
@@nute742 All of that new knowledge has been made up and is unbiblical. So I don't know why you would want to celebrate that

Or you could come back to church and recognize that we don't preach that God's love is conditional. Your family is upset because they love you. But hopefully, they can give you some grace.

@@Kyle68655 I guess they should have thought about that before they got divorced and broke our “family sealing.” Also I was the only faithful kid who stayed in the church… I hope you realize that all Christians believe families can be together forever, only the LDS make it conditional.

@@Karli_searches_and_prays totally makes sense. Your on this path because of family trauma. Unfortunately that’s very common. I wish you the best. As for that other claim, which churches espouse the idea of eternal marriages? I’ve seen a number of you guys offer that idea, but I’m unsure if it’s true or not.
