That Jack, Kate & Charlie scene still hits even today. As much as Jack doesn't want to be a leader, he is overflowing with leadership qualities. We've already seen him push himself beyond his limits to help others, suffering physically & mentally. He's biggest fault is that he will obsesse over something until he either succeeds, or pushes it too far beyond repair...he just can't let go. As a drunk chief of surgery once said...he "just doesn't have what it takes" to let go & move on.

The bandages on Charlie's fingers say FATE then LATE. He leaves them as a trace except the last one which is still on his finger when Jack unties Charlie from the tree. It must be believed that his FATE was not yet entirely fulfilled and that it was not yet too LATE to save him.😊

Well, they didn't try to murder Charlie for no reason, I mean, have you heard his band? Why do so many reactors think the baby is going to be evil? The dude didn't say evil, he said without clairs influence, danger surrounds this baby. Danger is not equal to evil. Yes, Jacks last name is Sheppard. Which means his dad's name is... Christian Sheppard. His mother said something like...you don't get to say no, not after what you did.
