Achei muito interessante a visão da Ju em relação a bússola que o Locke deu ao Sayid não está quebrada e sim ser algo relacionado a ilha deixar desregulada!

Essa cena do Hurley tentando pescar um pé com dois pauzinhos e uma camisa e em seguida pisando no ouriço é muito engraçado 😂 eu gosto muito dessa cena dele pedindo pra o Jin fazer xixi no pé dele porque tinha visto isso na TV hahaha. E o Jin entendendo depois do Hurley ter vomitado ao comer o ouriço que ele não aceitou da primeira vez por realmente não gostar, e não por desrespeito como o próprio Hurley achou que tinha sido a forma que foi interpretado!

Nesse início da série quase ninguém gosta da Shannon pelo o que ela demonstra ser na ilha e depois desse episódio, realmente fica mais difícil, com ela se aproveitando da fraqueza do Boone pra dar vários golpes financeiros. Usando o seu coração e a sua mente. Só depois passamos a entender melhor os motivos dessa personagem agir dessa forma. E eu acho muito massa essa cena do Boone praticamente se esbarrando com o Sawyer na delegacia em Sidney horas antes do vôo.

I always liked this episode. Locke is the Shaman, the man of faith. He is in tune with the island. His methods are unusual, but he's usually right, not always, but usually. Also, just because Sayid said the compass is broken, that doesn't mean, it's broken. Maybe there's something else wrong.

The title in French: 'Le coeur a ses raison' (The heart has its reasons). This comes from a passage from "Pensées" by Blaise Pascal: "Le cœur a ses raisons que la raison ne connaît point" (the heart has its reasons that reason does not know.) It seems to me that Gabi follows exactly my train of thought about Locke. He lets Charlie choose but not Boone. Perhaps because the choice of the first did not endanger the path of Locke unlike Boone who wanted to talk about the hatch.

some people let go of things easy and some need some hard motivation! boone's obsession was something very emotional so he needed an experience of such extreme to let go of his feelings for his "sister - from a different father"(both of them were no where related when they both were born because boone's mother got married to shannon's father much later in their lives and so it cannot be considered as INCEST)..."john locke is a famous philosopher" - fun fact

I remember not really liking this episode much at the first view but it got better on 2nd and I can say I like it now. I think this "long hallucination" thing works for this episode's context. Locke's drug makes Boone see such a vivid and prolonged hallucination that it's also very long and almost real for us too. Boone had a deep and long lasting obsession to her sister, so he needed such a "real" experience. I really like the final "relieved" comment of Boone which sometimes gets overlooked unfortunately. It feels out of place, dark and cruel at the 1st watch but in deeper context I don't think Boone means to say "relief" would be his only feeling if Shannon died. I think he would be sincerely devastated but he means a part of him would feel relieved because he could finally let go that obsession. Of course, Boone would be ashamed and guilty to feel relieved and maybe he would try to ignore and bury/hide, but now he can stop ignoring and explore that feeling, because Shannon is alive, so it doesn't matter. He only stresses that parf of his feelings when Locke asks because that remains the important part if Shannon is still alive. He really sees he should and maybe could somehow let go. He doesn't need to wait Shannon really die to taste that sweet relief. That's why he chooses to follow Locke in the end. Crazy stuff but really deep and interesting to me.

Eita, lá vai eu ver lost outra vez. Detalhe, comecei a assistir na época em que saiu, parei na metade, depois voltei pra ver tudo mais de 10 anos depois. Pessoalmente achei uma das melhores séries que já vi. Não acreditava que seria tão emocionante quando voltei a ver depois de muito tempo, mas me enganei redondamente.

20:50 and 24:00 Locke helped Boone learn a huge lesson. He was as obsessed with Shannon, as Charlie was with the drugs. Boone needed that badly. So did Shannon. From major dysfunction to a much healthier relationship. And, back in their own worlds, that may have been drastic measures. Maybe. But on that island it wasn't really weird. Yeah, Locke's methods are out there. Some drastic af. But this one was so needed. Partly coz Boone is kinda 🧠 thick. 😂

Rodrigo, your amusement at their divided outlooks about Locke was funny af. And yeah, he rubs Gabi the wrong way every time 😆 She's not feeling him or Shannon, either one.

I think some people can get very hard on Jin because he is overprotective of his wife. This is another perspective of his mentality for everyone: you chashed on an island with 40 plus people. you don't know them. you can't understand or communicate with them.One bad person is enough to do horrendous things to her in the jungle. personally I would be protective too.

9:29 YES!! Even though Shannon and Boone are not as interesting to me, I re-watched this episode a lot because of this moment. SO amazing, definitely one of my top 10 season 1 moments. Come to think of it...... Maybe I should make a video once my PC is repaired. A top 10 favorite moments.... 🤔

Some reactors think this is the best episode so far in the show and you molded these guys to dislike the episode. Also, I am amazed that you think Boone's dream/hallucination means nothing, when dreams are very important in the show.

Entendo a Gabi questionar os métodos do Locke,nesse ep realmente ele passa dos limites,Mas não dá pra comparar com o Sawyer,Locke mesmo exagerando sempre tenta fazer o bem ao próximo,ele usa de extremos para q o choque faça realmente as pessoas superarem seus traumas e problemas,já o Sawyer simplesmente é otário,ele é egoísta e não tá nem aí para os outros
