This has absolutely become my favorite reaction series. Nikki is a straight up legend!

To be fair, Ethan did hang Charlie from a tree. It's not like protecting Claire was the only reason he had to kill him.

Nikki, the way you were changing the batteries on that remote at the end, with a super mad look on your face, was HILARIOUS. It almost looked like you were putting bullets into a gun, ready to kick some ass. LOL.

Nah, Ethan killed Charlie, hanged him from a freaking 30 feet tall tree. Screw Ethan's secret information and all logic, Charlie killed him out of pure survival instinct.

"Why, doctor, you've been holding out on us." Man I love this episode. I'm glad Niki likes Hurley and this was probs my fave reaction from her for obvious reasons lol weve all been there with the rage!! Also, It's true you do get to know them as you go along, we were all bullied but Sawyer is more complex than just a bully. He does many things for many people, as you go along you will see more.

A couple of comments: 1) More than one bullet may have been necessary because Charlie is a bad shot. Remember Mr. Missed-the-Heart? 2) So you are all right with torture? Is it acceptable for the "bad guys" to torture characters you like? 3) The five people watching Claire would have been widely spread out not knowing from what direction Ethan would have approached. If they were too close, he would have detected them, since it appears that he is quite competent inn traveling quickly and silently through the terrain. That is why it took so long for them to converge. Also, Claire may or may not (quite understandable to me) may have run from the center point of their trap, throwing their plans off. 4) Sayid is trying to move away from being a torturer. Remember his reaction to when he tortured Sawyer for no reason. And Sawyer not telling he did not have the inhalers is not a reason. They did not know for certain that he had them. They took Boone's deduction as true and went from there. 5) Charlie makes one mistake and you write him off? You understand that this is a show about people who make the wrong decisions constantly in their lives, right? Just look at the flashbacks we have seen so far. Does anyone have a life worth living in the "real world" based on their decisions? The closest you could come are Hurley (because he has not had a flashback yet, so his mistakes, if any, are yet to be seen) and Jin & Sun. Their life was not perfect, but their lives could have improved if they could have possible gotten away from under her father's influence, whether they stayed married or not.

OMG, I need to get the Blu Ray... You have brought back such a great show, Suraj!!! The flashbacks of these episodes are coming back to me! Thank you!

Honestly, if my eyelashes were that long and thick, I'd have trouble holding my eyes open too. How does Ian Somerhalder do it? OMG, Nikki's rage at Charlie is hilarious. The only thing that kept me from being that mad at him was the fact that I still saw Merry every time I looked at him. And I couldn't be furious with Merry.

Yes they totally could have gotten him to talk. Great. Charlie becomes the first Oceanic survivor to commit murder or attempted murder on the island. And why did Kate feel she had to join every damn expedition? What was she trying to prove?

I was glad when Charlie killed him. He hung charlie and took claire. He killed scott...or steve. Why bring him back home where he could escape and kill more. I mean what if Charlie didnt kill him and sayid tried to get info from him but ethan looked like a pain fetish type of guy so no info. Then ethan escapes and kills hugo or Vincent.

I'm with y'all. "Captain Falafel" was the best slur. And to me it was even more than that. To me, it represented a new Sawyer. And I'm not talking in terms of likeable vs. unlikeable. Before that quip, something was off about his character. All his insults were junior high level creative. His character was over-the-top. The writing for him was too on-the-nose. And there was even something off about Josh Holloway's acting. In short, the character wasn't "believable". But it was as if with the words "Captain Falafel," everyone finally found Sawyer's voice and everything about his character became better executed. I'm not arguing any causation or even correlation. But that was the point in my memory where he finally became "believable".

You know knocking people out isn't as easy as they make it look like in movies
