Sawyer's nicknames in this episode: With his original motivation in life (finding original Sawyer) now over, Sawyer stops being his old selfs and stops using nicknames for people. He calls Kate and Hurley by their real names.

This episode reminds me that Matthew Fox didn’t get enough credit for his excellent acting in my opinion

Season 4 has my favourite episode of Lost, but this finale is outstanding, close second. Too much to unpack! Season 1 and 2 finale were mostly about John, now we follow Jack. Did something change? Oh, and we got our explosions like every other finale! Seeing our fearless leader Jack being so sad in the beginning hit me. Apparently his need to fix things saved his life. Too bad he took his coping mechanism from his father, apparently (good catch, Gabi). He’s really not ok. The tone is really grim. On the island, John was not ok too, he was lucky Walt showed up. Was it really him or some other vision from the island? All things considered, I’d say a “vision” with someone that believed in him and needed him in his time on the island, to shake John up. Poor Jin, he had only a gun, less accurate than a rifle. I still don’t think the plan would have fully worked anyway, Jin killed like 3 people and still a dozen of them remained alive. Substantial damage was made, anyway. so good plan, Jack.

Concerned Kate tells Jack about a wounded woman in their camp and gets howled. Charlie boasts sensitive information to the enemy's face on the eve of an surprise attack and gets.. silent respect? Just making sure how it works in here. Yeah and damn that Bernard too, eh? Makes sense.😅

I have so much to say, so I'm gonna try to just resort to stuff that probably nobody else has ever said. 😅 But fun little fact, when I see Jin speak English here to Sun (3:50) : Did you know? That they actually hired people for the German dub who could speak both German AND Korean for Jin and Sun's VAs? Yes, that's right, they wouldn't just let the English audio file play, every time they spoke Korean. The German VAs spoke those lines, too. Now, whether or not they really spoke that language I can't verify, but when you hear Jin's VA actually speak German (and actually Sun's, too. Only her VA left after season 4 and then the VA who voiced Achara in "Stranger In A Strange Land" took her role. Pretty annoying 🤭🙈), it actually sounds pretty likely that that was the case. They just went the extra mile to make the voices sound the same all throughout. How crazy is that? 😅
