Okay here it is I have swimming in my legs which the doctor is going to the doctor has given me some water pills and you know what they do you go to the bathroom every almost every hour and I have cerebral palsy and that can never be cleared up but all in all everything is okay so there's no need to even worry but I wanted to thank you for asking me about it I have problems with my left leg being swollen most of the time but that's an ongoing problem and that's why I'm going to the doctor today so that she can check it and see that I'm not in any pain I'm having to take some antibiotics also and those working pretty much okay I guess but it really makes me feel incredibly good that you asked me about my medical condition because a lot of people are focused on that too much and it drives me insane but I am allowing you to ask me because as I've said in previous notes to you you are a friend and a wonderful gentleman and your videos on KZfaq I really the only ones that I really look at other than scamming videos with Trilogy media I look at their videos just to crack up until you post something new but I can wait but you need to make me a promise please do not worry about my medical condition I'm going to keep you informed and I'm going to see that you know everything so when I get back from the doctors today or tomorrow how the doctor thinks I am doing I promise you that I'm not going to leave you without knowing anything that was done to me by a friend of mine and I've never been able to forget it because he broke his promise to me but I know that I don't have to worry about that with you all my love and a hundred kisses for you Hazel and the rest of your wonderful family of which I wish I was a part of have a wonderful day I love you kisses and hugs

Yes, the best 3rd season episode. But I would say in general, 3rd season was a little better than the 2nd.

My favorite from S3! Followed closely by Hunter’s Moon, (another John-centric episode), and Visit to a Hostile Planet! If only the rest of the season had been as good.

That's a general consensus. Every time the turned Guy Williams loose it resulted in one of the best episodes of the series. They really should have given him more screen time.

According to every source I've seen, the actual writers of the episode were Robert Hamner and Barney Slater. I looked up KC Alison on IMDB, and I'm guessing it might be a WGA approved pseudonym, like "Alan Smithee" is in the DGA. Perhaps there was some sort of issue with who to give the episode's writing credit to (as an aspiring screenwriter myself, I've discovered that can become quite complicated, depending on the situation), so that pseudonym was considered the best option?

It's not necessary to understand the ins and outs of pickups to enjoy guitar music, thankfully. I'm familiar with Enya but I've listened to more of Maire Brennan, who I believe is her sister or something like that. She sings a lot in Gaelic, too. It's all good.

I'm doing well. I have a touch of sunburn, we just got back from a week in Catalina. We took a friend with us who had never been there, and watching her discover the place was as much fun as being there ourselves. We did some diving, some snorkeling, took a couple of tours, and the highlight for me was the falconry demonstration. A group there trains various raptors and gives educational talks about them while letting the birds show off what they can do. We actually got to catch a huge hawk on our hand (with a glove, of course). That was beyond awesome. But now we're back home and back to the routine. Stay well.

KC Alison was a pen name. The actual writing assignment was Barney Slater's. He provided a script and did his two required re-writes. But it still needed more than the usual Tony Wilson script polish. So Robert Hamner was brought in to do further re-writes. In truth, all three men should have received credit. But Tony Wilson wouldn't hear of it, and both Hamner and Slater amicably and honorably agreed to the use of the KC Alison pen name.

Thanks for that information. I've wondered about how the "Slater/Hamner/Alison" business came about ever since the Starlog feature on LiS back in 1978. I figured a long time ago that "KC Alison" was probably a WGA approved pseudonym, much like "Alan Smithee" is in the DGA. I've also read some tantalizing bits about the episode's backstory over the years, like the Drun character was originally *not* a parallel universe version of Don (perhaps that's why the red-skinned alien that was Dr. Chronos' assistant in Time Merchant was in Anti-Matter Man as well?). Tony Wilson was an interesting fellow. Supposedly he was a part of the move from straight science to science fantasy on the show, but also wrote some very good straight sf scripts as well, like The Fear Makers for Voyage and the pilots for The Invaders and Land of the Giants.

This observation has gotten me flamed on several occasions in other venues online, but I'll take the risk and say it anyway here (hopefully any responses will be a bit more mature): as a fan of both ST:TOS and LiS, I noticed a number of years ago that several third season LiS episodes seemed to possibly been inspired by first season ST:TOS storylines. Probably the most obvious examples of this I can think of are Condemned of Space (Space Seed -- in fact, CoS's plot is very similar to Carey Wilber's second draft for SS, which included a Phanzig like villain named "Harold Ericson"), Visit to a Hostile Planet (Tomorrow is Yesterday), The Haunted Lighthouse (Charlie X), Time Merchant (City on the Edge of Forever), and of course Anti-Matter Man (Alternative Factor/Mirror, Mirror). Others that seem to have taken a previous season's ST:TOS episode's theme as a starting point, IMO, are Space Destructors (What Are Little Girls Made Of), Flight into the Future (Space Seed), Space Primevals (The Apple -- actually an early season 2 ep.), The Promised Planet (Miri), and Flaming Planet (Arena). And then there's a new character that was introduced, an alien showman/con artist named Farnum B., who with his outsized personality and cheesy mustache might just remind one a bit of a gent name Harcourt Fenton Mudd... Now, before anyone gets their knickers in a twist, let me just say that -- as an aspiring screenwriter myself, who's been interested in the field since grade school -- writers have been *ahem* "borrowing" from each other since time immemorial. Most of the writers on LiS, like most movie and TV writers back then, were freelancers. True, Irwin Allen had his "go-to" guys for his different series (most notably William Welch on VTTBOS), but they almost all had other gigs as well (e.g. Barney Slater wrote some very good season two Mission:Impossible eps.) I highly doubt they would have felt they were being disloyal somehow to Irwin if they borrowed from the "competition" (hey, a good story idea is a good story idea, right?), and even as persnickety as Irwin could be at times, I highly doubt he much cared where his writers got their inspiration from (so long as he wouldn't get sued). Indeed, since Carey Wilber I'm sure was familiar to people like Peter Packer and Barney Slater, it wouldn't surprise me if back in those days before NDAs if the former didn't mention to one of the latter gents that he was writing a script for "that other show", one about a sleeper ship full of convicts from earth... Anyway, this is mostly speculation and some (I hope) logical conjecture on my part. All the principals mentioned here are long gone. And yes, I've had some people try and argue to me that there was no "inspiration" taken, or "borrowing" involved -- that all of those episodes storylines were just common sf ones. And I might buy that -- if it were just a couple of episodes that bore some loose similarity. In the end, being aware of how writers do indeed borrow or take inspiration from other works, it doesn't bother me as to whether Packer, Slater, etc. borrowed from season one ST:TOS; what I care about is what they did with any ideas the did borrow, how did they take and "make them their own" in a story. That is the mark of a good writer.

I just commented elsewhere that Smith in that episode basically comes off like a MacGuffin, rather than the central character (which is refreshing, for a change, though I guess Jonathan Harris made no secret that it wasn't one of his favorites). I honestly thought that the stuff like that made no sense, like the moving rocks, was more likely due to the episode running short rather than Irwin wanting the mood lightened. In either case, most of those added scenes, I have to admit, really do smack of "filler" that is both unnecessary and intrusive.

We got back from Catalina Tuesday afternoon. After a bunch of unpacking and a couple of days' rest, we're doing well. I'm recovering from all the sun I got, and we are both refreshed and ready to get back into it. For me that means starting on Flying Nun season 2 and starting to poke around Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. I also have several more TV Fails in the works. I made myself get at least two months ahead in the review production so I could take a good three weeks and just concentrate on music. It's been fantastic! But now I have to go back to splitting my time between the two. I don't mind, I love writing and creating the reviews, and they pay for the music equipment. So there's that! I hope you're doing well.

I figured you were tied up I just thought something was wrong I got a little but guess what I just went I just came back from the doctors and my blood pressure is still down she is very happy with my progress I wanted to tell you about another game that I play It's called Sims 4 it's really fun you create a family and you weren't money and when you create your character it's really a blast and you actually build I don't know if you've ever heard of it but I have a blast because I can do things with this game that I can't do when I want apartment I wish you could see the things that I have built I'm still learning I'm not the best builder in the world but it doesn't matter I have a lot of fun and I really wish that I could share it with you get a look at it you can find it on KZfaq as well and there's even if you go to gameplay you can figure out how to play it it is so funny especially when the characters tried to dance it looks like moving spaghetti haha Let me know when you think If you have time between your busy schedule I'll be waiting to hear from you again have a great day don't work too hard take care all my love Joanne

Hello Irving how are you doing it's been awhile since I've written I just spent the last two days trying to get my bills paid and getting ready for the new month and to be honest with you I miss you did you happen to find the CCR documentary that I mentioned I hope so because I really kind of went nuts when I saw it because I know you like that group I just wondered if you had a chance to check it out as far as I know it's still on Netflix it's fairly new so I think it'll be there for a while and I finally got into my video game Sims 4 I am building a house but I don't know how it's going to look yet because in the game I had to move to a new lot and I'm not repeat not the greatest Builder but I guess you become better as you go I don't know how many hours I spent on the game yesterday once you do get on it however it is very addictive right now I've got stuffed crammed and I don't like it I've got doors in the wrong spot cuz I don't know where to put anything just yet all I've done is put squares together and then I find is the easiest way to build you don't need to be fancy I guess things will improve like I said as I go along well I'm about ready to go to bed I've been up for two days unable to sleep I'll talk to you later hugs and kisses I'll be waiting to hear from you when you have some time no rush hugs and kisses and anything else I can think of haha Jojo

I know the feeling. It's rent day and we've worked out a strange way of paying it. It works, but while I can't really spill details, I can honestly say I've never done it this way before. Other than that it's just working on new videos. Kathy is just about done painting the body of my bass guitar kit, so I'm going to be starting to work on that in the next week or two. I don't know if you watched my "let's play" of Splinter Cell Blacklist, but I mentioned that I've played that game a lot. I still do. It's one of my brain-unfoggers when I get too bogged down in scripts and such. I have a set of something like three games that I play over and over. If you're familiar with Borderlands, I have Tiny Tina's Workshop but I haven't started to play it yet. Beyond all that, yesterday Kathy and I took my "second wife" (her best friend) out for her birthday. We joke that Kathy is my first wife, she's my second wife, and Kathy is my third. I love the looks we get from people when we say something about me being out with my two wives.

She figures she's lived to 14 so she's earned all the naps she wants. I assumed they take the equipment apart to get it in and out of the ship, but that's just a guess. Welcome back! I've missed your comments! Glad to hear you're doing better, too!

My oldest daughter is having a similar issue. No matter what time she goes to sleep, she can't get up in the morning. She tries and her body says "not happening". I wonder what the cause is. One reason I can't dance is because I never learned how. But I have a leg that doesn't always do what I tell it to do, so I guess now it's too late. I never cared that much, but it did add a verse to one of my songs. I wrote one called "Gimpy Leg Blues", and it includes a verse about trying to dance. It's pretty funny if I do say so myself. Haven't recorded it yet, but I'm working on it. Stay well, my precious friend.

@@dwashbur Hi Irving I originally sent you something but I think it got lost so I'm sending you something quick and easy I'm going to the doctor's today for Melanie to check my leg my left one to be specific I'm always having trouble with swelling in that leg and I'm on an antibiotic to help with pain but I'm in some other pain also and that is the rectum and sometimes the bladder so I'm on a lot of medication but there's no need to worry the doctors are right behind me I'm going around 3:00 p.m. today and I'm hoping they can tell me that I'm doing okay and I watch your videos to lower my blood pressure because you have the wonderful ability to make me laugh and also make me feel that nothing can be all that bad I tried to keep that in my head but sometimes it's very hard to believe that when I'm all alone so that's another thing you do for me you're always there when I need someone to talk to and just so you know I have cerebral palsy and that will never go away but it doesn't beat me wait let me rephrase that I don't have it it has me in other words I don't let it beat me so don't worry about me I'm doing well thank you for asking me about the doctors because that's really important it shows to me that you care I have it I had a friend that told me he would stick by me no matter what was no matter what was happening and he broke his word in other words I haven't heard from him but I know you're not like that and I thank you for being there when I need you so if anyone gives you any hard stuff let me know and I'll run them over with my wheelchair and if you want I'll even babysit Hazel if you go out haha have a great day I love you right back when you can all my love and kisses be well

Specialists are not fun. My wife has been battling chronic pericarditis since before quarantine, and we have to go all the way to Seattle to see her specialist. In fact, we have to head up there in a couple of hours. So I understand the nerves. But you'll be okay. You're tougher than the stuff that tries to keep you down.

My disabled daughter has done a fair bit of adult coloring so I know what you mean. My oldest takes line drawings that she finds on the Internet or in coloring books and makes them into paintings. With KZfaq you don't need a karaoke machine. There are karaoke tracks for almost any song you can name. I use them a lot to practice for the karaoke I do with my youngest daughter on Saturday nights. I have 3 daughters, by the way. No boys. I always said I have ever man's dream: I'm surrounded by beautiful girls who love me!

Thanks for the kind words. Working on these guitars is mainly a just-for-fun thing with me, though when one is finished I do enjoy playing it. The lamp sounds very nice. My aunt had one along those lines and I know she loved it. If you can put a picture of it somewhere online once you get it, maybe you can put a link to the picture here so I can take a peek.

Her checkup went fine. Her weight is staying the same, which is good. More weight means more pressure on her arthritic limbs, so weight is the main reason I regulate her food carefully. She did have a UTI, so she's getting some liquid amoxycillin in her wet food to deal with that. Fortunately, she likes it and licks the platter clean. Her blood work showed that her thyroid medicine is actually working too well and her numbers are too low now, so I've been able to cut back on that medication. Aside from that, she's happy and healthy and enjoying life. My wife is having a ball with her hospice job. She's one of those rare individuals who has the kind of heart that can do that stuff, and she really enjoys caring for people at the end of their lives. She continues to paint though she shut down her Etsy store. These days she paints stuff for herself and for me. Right now she's working on the body of the bass guitar kit I bought. Stay well and keep in touch.

You are genuinely blessed to have someone like that. I try to do the same thing for my daughter, who also has balance problems. She broke her left knee into 4 pieces for her 20th birthday, and most of the time she has to use a walker to keep her balance. When we her parents can't help her, her younger sister has stepped up and taken the reins. They're now talking about getting a place of their own, because the state pays her sister to do the caretaking. When that might happen is anybody's guess, but they want to get lives and that makes me happy. My oldest is off doing that right now. I'm quite proud of my "herd of girls".

I'm sorry you're not feeling well, I hope you both get well quickly. Hazel has a checkup later this morning, right now I'm killing time until I need to pack her up in her carrier. She doesn't like being in it but she doesn't resist much. Yesterday we took the family to a wildlife preserve/refuge near us called Northwest Trek. For the most part they take in animals that are injured or disabled, such as a golden eagle that can't fly due to a catastrophic accident. My disabled daughter has been wanting to go there for a long time, and they *finally* got electric scooters for people like her. We had an amazing time. The high point was a bobcat playing with a child's shoe. I'll be making a video about that very soon, it was too funny for words. We had hoped to see the river otters and beavers playing but they were all asleep :( Oh well, it just means we have to go back!

I was about 6 the first time I met someone with CP. He could walk, and he ran his own snack stand, though he had trouble controlling his hands, and had a lot of difficulty speaking.. Around 1981 we were managing an apartment building in downtown Denver. It was one of the few buildings in the area with an accessible ground floor. I poured some small concrete ramps for the thresholds and did some upgrading to the security door, and declared the ground floor the wheelchair floor. There was an organization nearby that worked with disabled people and they brought us plenty of tenants. One young man in particular became a good friend, and he helped me understand a lot of things about CP and the different ways it strikes people. His name was Daryl. You are correct, I'm quite proud of you. Daryl helped me understand how tough it is to push through some of these things, but you are a rock star. You get it done. @@dwashbur 🐦🐭🎃 hello my friend I really appreciate all the wonderful things you say to me I don't know if you know this maybe I've said it a lot but it Bears repeating you are the most wonderful man that I've ever met and it seems that you understand my mood swings when you said to me that I was precious and that I mattered it brought tears to my eyes I wanted to reach out and hug you so bad it wasn't funny I really think that when you and I talk it's really helping me deal with my mood swings I'm on medication for that but sometimes I get so low that I just can't deal with things that are gone from my life but you've been a remarkable person and like I've said before and I mean it you get me through the hard times by the way you don't know this but my middle name is Kathleen so I think we're still connected it's Joanne Kathleen McClendon sorry about the misspelling it won't correct just to clarify my CP happened when I was born there was either too much or too little oxygen to my brain when I was born my CP is not severe my legs don't work like they should but I've got to set up where I can still stand up as long as I'm holding on to something or someone I'm very independent I don't have people waiting on me hand and foot only time I have someone helping me a little more than normal is when I don't feel good and that's another thing you've been there for me when I felt really lousy it's like you're here with me when everybody else is gone and just so you know I have some flameless candles that I always leave running and one candle stays on all day all night and there's no risk of Fire the brand is called luminara it's a candle that looks real and when people look at it they swear that it is real but it is not so the candle would be safe around Hazel if you decided to get one anyway the candle that is the candle that I leave on is you watching over me everyday please take that to heart I want to explain one more thing about CP when I was I was premature I was I think under £5 but my mom couldn't relate to that so here's the way she explained it to me take a 5 lb bag of sugar and cut it in half that's how much I weighed when my mom had me my God Mom had to take care of me after my mom gave me birth so there it is in a nutshell any other questions you can just let me know you take care please right when you can and in case you want to look up the candles and get some they're on qvc.com and believe me once you get one you won't stop I've got like 13 in my home so I guess you think I like them huh and I'm still working on the Sims write me when you can hugs and kisses please don't forget how special you are to me stay well love hugs and kisses from Jojo and Bear

Hi Irving you know what I say the same thing to my doctor that takes care of my bladder and he doesn't even care he lets me do that I recently told him that my godmother died and I was very upset and he said it was no sweat just like you and I really felt blessed and nobody made a big thing out of it the only reason I say something like that is to make someone believe that I do have a boyfriend and not one just talks not one that just talks to me when he feels like it cuz it seems all the guys I know do that and I hate it so that's the reason I called you a boyfriend and it really wasn't a joke I just thought I offended you what can I say you've been a wonderful man and someone that I'm extremely fond of the lamp should be assembled tomorrow but I'm not sure but I will let you know when it is probably tomorrow I think I'm a little scared only cuz I'm not sure what it's going to look like cuz what you see when you buy it isn't necessarily the song you're going to get cuz everyone of them is different I love you with all my heart so take care hugs and kisses I hope Hazel is doing well and your your lovely wife tell her I said hello hugs and kisses again Jojo

Hi Irving I just got back from Dr winningrad he's very handsome and very kind-hearted I'm seeing him because of the high blood pressure they took it it was 140 over 80 and that was okay the hardest thing that I had to do today was give a urine sample I had to go to Truesdale Clinic go all the way down to the ground floor and try and give them a sample they had no way of helping me figure out a way where I could go to the bathroom on the floor that they sent me in other words give me a commode a lot of work for nothing I got frustrated when I was telling them all I needed was a commode it was like they didn't know what I was talking about but that's their problem not mine I won't have to see him until 6 months from now so I guess I don't have to worry but I wanted to thank you for saying the last sentence that you did with your letter cuz I do feel quite alone and not cared for I treasure your friendship and I will always tell you when something is wrong I hope you don't think that I am a child there's a lot of stuff that's been going on with me and I wonder if the merry go round is going to stop or when I can climb the big mountain that's in front of me it's a metaphor thank you for being there for me all my love Jojo PS write me back when you can okay hugs and kisses

My daughter uses a hat, if you know what that is. Might that be a possibility? 140 is a little elevated but not much, and 80 is pretty well perfect. Yes I know what I had is the problem is is that they didn't have any place for me to go on the floor that I was trying to get it done and I felt that it was just about impossible but I do know that sometimes things don't go the way they should and my blood pressure has been a lot higher than what I told you I'm on a new medication and it seems to be working out they're not changing anything yet so I'm not all that worried the trip was a little bit horrendous I had to go in a medical van just to get home and it took forever but I want you to know how much I appreciate everything you've done and everything you're still doing to help me I wish I could reach out and hug you I sometimes wonder even if there is anyone out there for me but I think I chose someone very caring and loving please don't please don't forget how much I love you and keep loving up your lines when you're doing video because every time you do that I crack up and don't worry I'm doing okay got anything new coming up with videos I'm watching Cobra Kai and it's a good series I hope you can look at that soon and just don't forget that you're my big gentle giant haha love you good night

I just wanted to tell you Irving that you do so much for me when I'm feeling down and I need to make something clear I was having a problem trying to get the urine specimen because they didn't have the commode where I could do it on the floor where the doctor was at that's what I was trying to say but it got done so until the next time hope they won't need it for a while I don't have to go for another 6 months I wanted to tell you that I'm going to try and play my Sims 4 game I don't know if you're familiar with that it's a game where you create a household and you have these little people that you have to train to run a house you know the drill they get married excuse me you create a family and it could be a child growing up two minutes to be an adult or someone that you love you you create from the ground up you know their hair their their body all that then as they grow they go out on a date they move in and eventually they have a baby and it's so funny when that happens what I do in this game is I like to build mind you I'm not very good at it but I try I've got several houses that I play I like it because I can do things in the game that I can't do in my own apartment like open a window or make a bed or even play around decorating it's really fun when you first start because your character has to learn how to cook and you have to create a budget kind of fun and I hope you get a chance to check it out on KZfaq if you don't know what it is it's so funny anyway I love you and thank you for being there for me and you know what you are right we both have to look out for each other and I'm so glad that I have you please don't forget that you have someone here that loves you my secret boyfriend haha write me when you can hugs and kisses Jojo

@@dwashbur I really am happy that you find what I'm doing interesting and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to respond I know you've got a busy household to run and I'm so happy that you have time for someone who is very lonely but happy to know you you'll be happy to know that at 11:00 which is in a couple of hours I'm going to be working on the house again and I'm going to see if I can clean up the mess I made so many things are wrong with this house that I look at it and it seems to be totally useless to get anywhere with it but I've been clearing the lot so many times and starting over I'm beginning to think that it'll never turn out right but as long as I have your encouragement and your love I can get this beeping house done and yes it was a swear word that I was going to insert but I'm not I use the word beeping when I want to swear and nobody can call me out on it again thank you for being there for me and I will keep you informed of what I do with the house each time I go into it it's a fun thing to do but not when you feel stuck but no worries I'm going to keep working on it until I get it the way I want it if you want to look at some of the houses that were built not by me you can go to Sims 4 and type in building in real time and you can get an idea of what it's like to build for a game like that and just to give you a little bit of History you won't believe this but I was afraid to try and build the game actually scared me not frighten me but I felt that I couldn't build at all and I thought it was impossible to learn but I think I got it don't want to make this too long so reply when you can and give Hazel the kiss for me and your wife and tell her I said hello don't want to leave your family out take care all my love and of course hugs and kisses if I ever get a chance to meet you I'm going to give you the biggest hug that I can but I'm perfectly content to just write for now again thank you for responding Jojo

As the expression goes, housework is one of those things that nobody notices unless you don't do it. I'm terrible about it, in fact my whole family is. We're a variegated collection of Attention Deficit Disorder Folks, so things like that just slip our minds, collectively and individually. So the house usually looks as though somebody ransacked it. Hazel says hello and something else, all I understood was "meow" ;)

Hi Irving I just wanted to tell you when I was talking to you about my Sims 4 game I forgot to tell you that I can actually create a character who looks just like you you know gray hair and all that other stuff I can make you look silly I can make you look like you've got something going on and you can actually pick up girls but I know you wouldn't want to do that because you got a wonderful wife this was just something I I wanted to mention because a lot of times when I say that I created someone to look like someone else they can't believe it but if you got to look at this game on KZfaq it tells you exactly how to create your character if you're a newbie so I just needed to tell you that and to also say ready I love you I'm going to try to work on the house today but for right now I am stuck so maybe after I eat I can work on it and I'll tell you what I'm doing each time I get on the game because if I do that I feel like you're there with me and you're not being critical because that's the one thing I can't stand it's hard enough to actually build without someone saying that you did not do a good job building is very hard for me and I don't need criticism granted I am not happy with the way the house looks now but I'm just going to keep going oh one other thing the reason why I was telling you that I was going to tell you what I'm doing is because I used to do that with my godmother when we would talk over the weekend and she was extremely interested so now that I'm doing that with you it helps me deal with her being gone so I hope you don't mind hugs and kisses Jojo

I haven't tried to play it myself. I've watched several other people play it, and I can say with confidence that I don't have the patience for it. Dancing like moving spaghetti, eh? Irving I'm so happy that you enjoy it when I write to you because without it I would just go insane and without you to talk to I don't know what I would do regarding the game I haven't made a Sim that looks like you yet but I will if I can't find sue a girlfriend I might just make I might just create my own Sim and then put your name on it if I can't find anyone for soup that's my girl's name she's got blonde hair and she's wearing a long long dress and I'm trying to get her to get a boyfriend but sometimes when I'm playing in the game sometimes it jams up and I have to start over the hardest part for me when I play the game is actually building the house and possibly getting a date but they keep upgrading the game and sometimes it can be very difficult to read the text but I do it just to relax I don't care what people say about it anymore because I get a lot of negative feedback and I'd rather not even tell anyone except for you when I am doing because I know that you won't ever judge me because due to my handicap I sometimes get frustrated when people tell me that I'm doing something wrong or something is put in the wrong place when I'm playing the game I don't listen to that anymore it just doesn't do anything for me and the reason I'm telling you is because I know that you would keep encouraging me to keep going with it and that's what I need right now I don't know how many times I've cleared a lot when I wasn't happy but until I get comfortable I guess I'm going to keep clearing a lot and keep trying to build from the ground up so thank you for telling me that you've seen the game but I hope you don't mind if I keep talking to you about it because it's all I play right now and I haven't gotten anything brand new because I'm trying to pay off some stuff on my credit card that's why I'm not buying anything right now so thank you for telling me that you really seen the game but when I get to the roof I'm going to let you know because Roofing is the hardest thing for me to do and thank you again for telling me that you enjoyed what I write to you the last thing I want to become is a pain in the you know where all my love hugs and kisses Jojo

My disabled daughter plays Runescape a lot and has made lots of friends through it. As you say, it helps keep her sane. During quarantine/lockdown I played Blacklist pretty much nonstop in between making videos. Everybody needs an outlet, and a good game makes a good outlet.

Ugh. I'm so sorry it was like that for you. I don't understand parents like that, and I don't understand why people think they need to be cruel. I'm glad you mentioned the dad thing because you bring out my dad instinct big time. I'm here for you, and you are very precious. Know this for sure: I don't say such a thing if I don't mean it. I won't make a comment like that just to make someone feel good. If I don't mean it, I won't say it. But you are precious to me and I mean it. I have always considered having a child with a disability a blessing, even a badge of honor if you will, because it tells me God thinks I can handle it. And while I love my three girls equally, I freely admit that if I had to choose a favorite, she'd be it. A big hug to you! People tell me I give the best hugs in the world, so there's one for you!

It takes a special person to do what she does, too. I've been my daughter's caregiver for over 5 years, and the first rule of doing something like that is: check your ego at the door. This isn't about me, it's about her. It sounds like Juanita understands that, so you are definitely blessed to have her.

CFS has only recently (last 20-30 years) been considered a real syndrome, and as I mentioned, it's been linked to Epstein-Barr virus. That's as much as I know. I had all the symptoms in the early 90's and did catch the virus, but they didn't have a name for it yet. The symptoms went away on their own after a couple of months. And I'm 69, so to me you're a young whippersnapper! ;)
