1947 میں تقسیم ہند کے وقت کئی خاندانوں کے افراد ایک دوسرے سے بچھڑ گئے تھے، بارہ سالہ ہندو لڑکی داپھیا بائی بھی ان ہی میں شامل ہیں۔ ایک مسلمان گھرانے میں رہتے ہوئے انھوں نے بھی اسلام قبول کر لیا، لیکن اپنے گھر والوں سے ملنے کی خواہش سات دہائیوں بعد بھی انھیں بے چین کرتی رہی۔ اور پھر 73 سال بعد سوشل میڈیا کی مدد سے ایک بار پھر غلام عائشہ کی اپنے گھر والوں سے بات ہوئی۔ لیکن یہ کیسے ممکن ہوسکا، دیکھیے عمر دراز ننگیانہ اور فرقان الہیٰ کی اس رپورٹ میں۔

My mother met her two brothers after 60 years. It became possible after I came to the UAE and brought my mother here and her brothers came from Pakistan. Alhumdolillah. Allah swt made UAE a place which gave hope and chance to such reunions.

It's so heartbreaking. People who suffered the loss of their loved ones during partition are still in pain. We, the young generation, cannot understand their pain. Many old people on both sides of the border are still waiting to meet their family. The governments of both sides should do something for them before its too late.

I think United India would be better for all of us.. if unnecessary expense on defense would spend on development we might have on better place..it's just my opinion you can disagree
