Just beat this game a few days ago. It's rough around the edges, but I liked it for what it was.

Yep, i can definitely see The Nightmare before Christmas inspiration here. Reminds me of how kingdom hearts adapted it as a world. The fighting looks slow, so maybe it would have worked better as sole adventure game.

4:35 - Oooh, cute outfit(s?). Hopefully the devs drop some quality merch for the game. That way we can go to our favourite back-of-trunk store to get the title sans-EA then support the devs directly.

That combat looks absolutely awful. Loved the art style and unique concept but definitely a pass for me

Game starts with a 12 year old rolling a die (technically speaking dice is plural). A year later... "..she's not even twelve yet." What? What kind of time travel is this? I literally skipped back because I was half asleep and thought I was simply hearing things. Good review though and looks like a fun game.
