Ali Raza i actually have watched it and yes, the first episodes have a weird amateur feeling to it, but even then the 1st season is very good and from then on, all the other seasons are amazing! The 100 is defenetely reslly good :)

My gender studies determine that the black chick is there to show the audience how awful a white woman (Dr. Smith) can be and only BLACKS are awesome and heroic. Also, she will be the daughter of the black scientist that designed the ship used to land in that planet. The Robinsons adopted her after her parents got killed in an accident. Admiral Holdo will make an appearance telling them Dr. Smith, her alt-right sister, sabotaged their chip remotely. and killed the black chick's black parents on earth.

In their last quarter financials Netflix estimated they'd have around 118 million paid subscribers by the end of this quarter. So doing the math that means they'll soon be making around a minimum of 944 million USD per month, though the amount could change depending on subscription prices in other regions with different currency values. Either way they are already making a ton of money, and investors see that and are willing to cough up the money Netflix needs in order to stay ahead of the competition and make up for their shrinking licensed library.

I couldn't get passed 3rd episode. The filler PTSD flashbacks, "did you heart that?", "what was that?" fillers, trying to heavily invest in background stories of forgettable characters, walking, lots of walking shots... Expected a sci-fi but found a HEAVY family drama. Kudos to you.

This is such an awesome movie series for the whole family. It highlights determination, resolve, loyalty, quick problem solving, calmness/ self control amidst the chaos, responsibility, love and respect among family members and others... The episodes are exciting and well thought of. Wish Netflix would produce more shows like this.

And here I am think that "straight to Netflix quality" is the new straight to dvd. Altered Carbon sucked, Mute was terrible...and while Netflix has some good shows it seems like they have a problem actually making good content when 70% of their stuff looks expensive but has the acting and writing of a made for tv hallmark film.

The show is so good. It's been a while since I've seen such an entertaining space/sci-fi show on Netflix. The characters and acting are great, the attention to some details (like how they are constantly having to deal with a lot of problems, that's pretty much space exploration in a nutshell), and the fact that I hate the villain so much because writing is great. Also, the visual effects are really fun when you compare it to the 60s series and even the 1994 movie.

This show, is really one of the best!! I finish all 3 seasons in just 3 days. not kidding lol.. the story, the highly budget CGIs, the soundtracks, and especially the characters played very well by the actors. Sadly, season 3 is the last season but definitely recommend it. Oiii it’s just sooo goood, I want more of these kinds of series lol, cannot move on 😅 3rd season is the last.

Love the show. My son and I watched it and we loved it. Every Robinson Character is fantastic. Each episode carries drama, suspense and heart. LOST IN SPACE is a Beautiful Sci Fi series. Cant wait for 2nd season.

Every part of this series is like a high budget movie each. What a masterpiece. Sometimes we're given really amazing shows but sadly the majority of the people prefer watching crappy series instead and cause such great series as this one to have a early ending due to high production cost and low incomes. What is "original" is that Netflix is the originator of the financing for the show's production. That is what is meant by "Netflix Original" WHENEVER it is used.

You're so wrong. Parker Pose is a fantastic actress and was pitch perfect portraying the pathologically self-centered Smith. You're not supposed to like her, you're supposed to hate her. You know what the Robinson's only slowly come to realize. Smith is a catalyst and arguably one of the most important characters in the franchise, no matter what version of the show/you talk about. I just wish we got at least one "My dear boy..." out of her.

My dad's favorite tv Show growing up was Lost in Space and I was raised watching it too. This looks good, but absolutely NOTHING like the old TV show. I wish that they didn't use the same name and characters. I mean the B-9 robot in the old series is ICONIC and his relationship with Will and Dr. Smith was hilarious, this just looks like something way too different. I understand reboots, updates, and modernization can be really great in TV, but it seems wrong to me to use the same name and characters as the old TV show but to completely depart from it's comedic spirit.

Since this will be a TV show rather than a film it might rather mirror the 1965 - 1968 show rather than the 1998 film. Much more material to put in (and perhaps milk from) a TV show. Granted, with perhaps around 50 mil today for a 10-episode show you can produce much better visuals than with the 80 mil they spent in 1998 for the film. Yet I do not think the "straight to streaming webseries" has the meaning you think it has. This is not a webseries as webseries are meant to be (basically a 60 to 90 minute TV movie split in 10 or 15 minute "webisodes"), and there is nothing "straight to" about it, since Netflix's streaming medium is its original medium format. DVDs and Blu-Rays, the only medium that a "straight to" would apply to in the context of Netflix (and Amazon & Hulu), are released later.
